My YouTube feed was blowing up with clips from American commentators, including Joel Klatt appearing on Colin Cowherd's show. Joel is a pretty respected NCAA football analyst, and he actually predicted Tennessee beats Alabama. Colin kept poking fun at him, acting like, "Come on, you're joking, right? It's Alabama!" But Joel wouldn't budge. Looking at the spread, Alabama was around -7. I guess I saw that. Last night, I was just scanning scores—football, basketball, even American football. Then I spotted Tennessee - Alabama leading 28:20 at halftime. I figured I'd take a look, especially since QB Bryce Young is playing, and everyone is talking about him being the top pick in the next draft. I don't really follow that stuff, but I thought I'd watch. Man, what a spectacle! There were 102,000 people in the stands, and that brass band music they play moving back and forth through the crowd was wild. The game couldn't have been more intense. Alabama surged ahead, then Tennessee fought their way back. Constant swings on the field and on the scoreboard. With 15 seconds left, it was tied 49:49. Alabama missed a FG, but it wasn't over. Tennessee moved into FG range with just two seconds left on the clock. Just enough time. The kicker takes the shot; the ball flies weirdly, spinning like it's being manipulated, but it sails right through the uprights. The stadium absolutely erupted. Everyone rushed the field. They haven't beaten Alabama since 2006. Honestly, there was more excitement in that one game than in three NFL games combined. I have to hand it to Americans; they really know how to put on a show. I might end up watching more NCAA football from time to time.
Yesterday might have been the best game since the 2018 Georgia - Cincinnati matchup, so I suppose it's lucky this was the first one you tuned into. 😁
I wouldn't take Cowherd too seriously. Those segments with Klatt are entertaining because he's been a guest for years (even before he became an analyst), but it feels a bit staged so Klatt looks smart and Cowherd looks silly just to drive those clickbait views.🤣
I guess it might be an interesting matchup. Maybe we'll see something worth watching. Maybe it’s just me, but I think the Commanders have a real shot here. Maybe they'll pull it off, I guess. It’s hard to say with the Dolphins. Maybe the Jets have a chance, I guess. I guess we're looking at the Chargers matchup now. Maybe it'll be an interesting one. Maybe the Browns will finally turn things around this season. I guess we'll see. Maybe the Patriots can pull it off, I guess. It’s hard to say for sure. I guess it’s just the Detroit Lions today. Maybe we'll see something interesting. The Eagles look interesting this year, I guess. Maybe they have a real shot at it. Arizona Cardinals Baltimore Ravens Maybe the Cincinnati Bengals will pull it off this time, I guess.
quietfox38 says: They changed the rules this season so that starting from the third overtime, teams only go for a 2-point conversion. It basically means each team gets just one play in overtime. It’s almost like a penalty shootout. And that's how they ended up going all the way to a 9th overtime.
Do you think they actually went all the way to a 9th overtime because of that?🤣 🤣

It looks like all the tickets were single entries.
I just realized I didn't hit all six. I skipped the Bucs-Rams game because the odds seemed a bit low, I guess. But maybe the Chargers will come through to make up for it. 😁
I went ahead and placed the opposite bets on every single matchup at my local sportsbook since everything felt like a total toss-up to me. I guess my wallet is happy with how that turned out. 🤣 🤣

I’ve been mentally preparing for months just to keep my cool whenever I hear people claiming Etienne is better than Harris before the draft. Honestly, after seeing this, I might not be able to hold it back much longer. 🙏
