Here is the issue.

I can't recall my password—so, okay, I enter my cell number and get an SMS with a verification code, which I enter, but then they send some kind of recovery email to the address I set up ages ago... except that email was from back when I was in college, so I don't have access to it either since I've forgotten that password too. Then, when I try a different method, they ask for yet another email to send a code to, and even after I type that code in, they just won't confirm that I actually own the account.

Isn't it enough that my phone number is registered so I can just reset the password through that? I'm at a loss here—any advice?
New PC build, terrible benchmark scores in Desktops ·
So, I picked up this PC from Starbucks just three weeks ago. What am I supposed to do? This is incredibly frustrating!

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/11929209

It says: Very high background CPU (41%). High background CPU reduces benchmark accuracy. Find active processes with Windows Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC). However, there is absolutely nothing eating up my CPU in the background... Consequently, both the CPU, GPU, and RAM are performing way below expectations—with the processor being FAR below what it should be. HELP!
Bottlenecking issues? Why is this happening? in Desktops ·
So, here are my specs:

Intel Core i5 9600K GTX 1070 8GB
Gtx 1070 8gb
16gb 3000hz ram
B450 ds3h motherboard
620 seasonic power supply

I play at 1080p on a 60hz monitor.

It turns out my buddy's rig from $1667 actually runs games like Call of Duty way better than my 8500 setup—it just doesn't make sense... even though we have the exact same graphics settings, he's playing on a 144 hz monitor and getting significantly higher FPS, maybe 30-40 frames more than me. There is absolutely no logic to this—I am quite frustrated and could really use some help...
