Bluetooth headphone issues in IT Support ·
Greetings,

I am encountering an issue pairing Bluetooth headphones with my PC.
I purchased an ASUS adapter, but whenever I connect the headphones to the computer, the audio begins to stutter and crackle after about 5 to 10 minutes, making it virtually unintelligible.
The headphones function perfectly fine on both my laptop and my phone.

Is this a fault with the computer itself, or is it the adapter?

Matthew Alvarez77 said:I've mentioned some, but that's for a different thread. 😉 These aren't clichés; they're principles experienced people have used for years. My stance hasn't changed one bit.

Just post the photos so we can actually see. There's no reason not to, especially since I'm sure you look great given you claim to practice everything you talk about—you clearly have the credibility.
You can say whatever you want, but if you're sitting at 30% body fat trying to lecture me on bodybuilding, you aren't exactly an authority. If your advice actually worked, you’d (hypothetically) look a lot different right now.

Like I said, I'm not posting pictures. I don't need validation for my physique, and frankly, I value my anonymity. All these "tried and true" methods have been debunked a million times—from carb cycling to fast/slow metabolism myths. Just because one method works for one person doesn't mean it's universal or even optimal. That's why I take any "expert" advice with a massive grain of salt. Unless someone provides absolute proof, I'm staying put.

Whatever. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean nobody else can drop 8% body fat in a month while keeping muscle mass. It’s possible if you're disciplined and watch every single calorie. And yes, you can preserve muscle. I haven't lost mine since I've been tracking everything from day one; my chest hasn't shrunk, my biceps are fine—basically, only my waist got smaller. If you want to know how, I just cranked up the training intensity while simultaneously tapering off carbs. It's damn hard, but with enough willpower, it works.

Also, I haven't seen your photos. Honestly, I might need to see what you actually look like before I decide if this debate is even worth continuing, because physical appearance says a lot about how much authority someone actually has when they speak.

If there's no evidence, it's just broscience. It seems to be your tradition to just post gym clichés and hearsay without ever backing anything up. If our entire discussion boils down to "read a high school textbook," then there's really no point in talking. What am I supposed to say to that? Is it just a glass of juice and then everything goes straight to fat?

I have no intention of posting photos. This is an online forum, not a Gold's Gym. I judge others by their posts, and I'm certain everyone else judges based on the quality of comments rather than looks.

Matthew Alvarez77 said:What’s even the point of this post? Didn't anyone teach you that acting like this just exposes how little you actually know?

If you disagree with these claims, then go ahead and state which ones you think are correct.

You can find all this info anywhere—maybe try picking up a high school biology textbook and doing some actual reading.

BTW—I went out of my way to reply this time, but I won't bother in the future because it's just not worth the typing.

I don't agree with any of it. That whole thing about juice is ridiculous; I won't even dignify it with a comment. Plus, I wouldn't agree that metabolism is fastest in the morning. A 24-hour day is a human construct, and our bodies don't sync up with the clock just to sort food intake by the hour. Even if it were "faster" in the morning, the difference is surely negligible. Feel free to debunk me if you have actual credible links, but based on what I know, this sounds like pure broscience.

As for the first point, it's a bit funny that you claim you didn't lose any muscle while dropping 8% body fat in a month and a half. It's pretty hard to believe.

How to build strength without bulking up? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Just do squats and curls or chin-ups—either 3x3 or 5x3—and your problems are solved. Though, frankly, I have no idea how much that’ll actually do for your biceps.

Ronald Cox96 said:Well, I might have to cut it out for a week or two. It could actually be the whey. If it isn't, I'll go looking for answers, but if it is... then what?

I don't buy it. One and a half scoops is roughly 35g of protein, right? That's basically just eating an extra 5 ounces of chicken a day. It’s not like you're slamming 400g of protein daily and giving your body a meltdown.🤷

Lisa Rogers94 said:The thing is, it’s just incredibly sweet on its own. I used 47g (on my scale) and 300 ml of water. It was awful! Some lady at the grocery store told me to use 2 tablespoons, but I just followed the instructions on the bag.

I don't get it. Why not just mix the protein in with it? Just add more water like someone suggested above; it's not a big deal.

Sam Roberts said:Honey isn't just fructose.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honey

Sure, but it's mostly fructose. Regardless, even if he were right, it's still the easiest way to explain why it shouldn't be used in a post-workout shake.👍

Lisa Rogers94 said:I picked up a 500g tub of BioTech 100% Iso Protein for a trial run. I read somewhere you can swap out dextrose for honey, but I was wondering if raisins would work instead. Basically, if I eat a handful of raisins after my workout, could I then drink my protein?

Sent from my HTC Wildfire

Honey won't cut it; it's mostly fructose. If you aren't dead set on drinking glucose, go ahead and eat the raisins.

Ronald Cox96 said:The label on the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey mentions consulting a doctor if used long-term. It caught my eye since I'm already halfway through my second 5lb tub. None of my other supplements ever mention needing medical advice?

I assume that's only relevant if you have kidney issues or something... if you're healthy, don't sweat it.

So, I picked up some whey, but there was no scoop in the tub. Now I’m completely lost, and I don't have a scale on me. Roughly how many grams is a standard soup spoon?

edit: managed to dig it out after all 😬

I'm not a fan of this Buntic guy; he acts like he's playing for our side rather than the opposing team.
