Got a new laptop; first order of business is installing macOS.
I can't even get into Safe Mode

Where am I supposed to install it? I can't even boot into Windows...
Hi. I have a new Dell Latitude. I installed Windows 7 64-bit and finished all the configurations... I even got everything I need installed, but for the third time now, after just a few hours, I'm hitting a BSOD with error stop 0 x0000005. It’s a brand new laptop, but I pulled out the original HDD and swapped in an SSD instead. The old HDD slot is just empty now. Could removing the hard drive be the issue? Or is it something else entirely? Thanks.
If you’re going to force something, at least force people to listen... without interfering. Just listen to what others have to say... you can't teach someone how to be happy. You can fake it, but genuine happiness is obvious... 🙂

"Some people genuinely believe they can learn how to project positive energy, as if there are certain magic phrases or specific sentences that generate positivity on their own. That’s just not how it works.
Energy, whether it's positive or negative, comes from within. You can't pour out something that isn't already inside you.
If we want to spread peace, we have to find peace within ourselves first.
If we want to share joy, our own hearts need to be full of it first.
Otherwise, even the most comforting words will just sound like empty noise coming from a bitter person."

Everyone has the capacity to be "exceptional," provided they actually know what they're aiming for and put in the effort. In my view, the people who truly radiate that kind of light usually do so because they have a healthy sense of self and actual confidence. It isn't a performance for an audience. Honestly, I doubt they even care if anyone is watching.
I completely agree.
There are people who just naturally possess that quality. They actually know more than everyone else, they stay positive, and people are instinctively drawn to them. Those who try too hard to force that persona usually end up being exhausting... you either have it or you don't.
I’ve had my foot soaking in boiling water for half the day. It’s clearly an infection from the injury, obviously. I would give anything to know how to ease this pain right now. My doctor told me I just have to wait another week...

Has anyone else dealt with a spider bite? I accidentally stepped on one about 12 days ago, and my leg still feels completely numb and pretty painful. I started a course of Medrol and some painkillers immediately, plus took Nixar for five days, but the pain hasn't really budged since day two. Any advice on what I should do next?
