My mother was recently diagnosed with a specific subtype of Parkinson's disease. Does anyone here have more insight into this? I'm looking for information on specific medications or any kind of support available for this particular version. There is incredibly little information online regarding this specific type. Hi everyone, I’m new here. I haven't been able to track down a thread specifically about Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), so I'm hoping someone can help me out. If anyone here has had DBS implanted for Parkinson's, or knows someone who has, could you please share your experience? Specifically, what was life like before the procedure versus how it has been since? Did it actually improve the overall quality of life, and how does the whole thing work in practice? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.🤷😕
