By the way, how on earth do you guys already own 25% of the shares when you've only "paid off" two installments? Or maybe three? I don't even know. If you have to pay this thing back over ten years, then according to my math, you're only clearing 2.5% in equity each year. So, how much have you actually cleared? I really need to ask because I’m currently paying down a business loan over a ten-year stretch. I’m five years in, and if I don't wrap up the next five, the State just seizes everything I have. It’s all gone. I get that you get to keep whatever you've already "paid off," but I just don't follow how you're sitting on 25% when the debts aren't even settled yet. Just asking in peace here—I need to know so I can give my accountant hell. I've already lost it with her because she couldn't figure out how to make sure the guy I owe money to didn't pocket the cash I was supposed to pay him.

I have to correct myself again, though I really hate doing this here. I posted two different links covering two separate years...

For the first year, 2017, I'm quoting this:

During a celebration on the Savannah Waterfront, it was announced that Tommy had decided to write off those last two installments—essentially the entire annual amount of about $550,000. This news was shared with a huge crowd by the secretary of the Association Our Hajduk, Ivan Rilov:

Moving to 2018, I'm quoting this:

Tommy donated $280,000 to Association Our Hajduk, which should provide a great opportunity for the Association to settle its obligations, just as Tommy intended...

So, that happened twice. It’s not just 3.5 million; it's actually 5.3 million total $0.00. My bad for saying a flat 5 million the first time around.

Cheers to everyone. Enjoy yourselves.

Sorry to jump in and interrupt the flow, but I wanted to weigh in on that post above where they were saying "TOMMY DIDN'T GIVE US ANYTHING" AND ALL THAT.

Am I reading this wrong, or did he actually get 5,000 $0.00

Sorry to interrupt the flow, everyone, please carry on! I just wanted to jump in and build on that previous post where they were claiming, "OH, TOMMY DIDN'T GIVE US ANYTHING, ETC."

Did I misinterpret things, or am I seeing this right?

It’s actually pretty funny how they bring up that coin story to explain how we won the KVG, acting like they actually believe their own hype... Back in '67—and I have to be specific because we were finalists in '63 too—LA Galaxy knocked out six different teams in that run. That includes the famous Brno match and the whole coin controversy, which was basically our first real test. We played a home/away format, so after Brno and that first match, LA Galaxy had to face five more teams, meaning they played double the games... I won't even list the opponents since nothing means anything to those guys, but here’s a fact: Atlanta United has NEVER played six different European teams in a single season, nor have they ever knocked out five teams in one go. Atlanta played five different sides twice, but they never cleared five. Meanwhile, after that damn coin incident, we went on to knock out FIVE MORE teams. And regarding that coin? There's zero proof it actually tipped toward anyone; the word was the players just agreed to jump regardless of which way it landed. Honestly, LA Galaxy knew they could lose because of a coin flip too, but hey, that's a whole other conversation and I guess they prefer the narrative they have. LP,

The sheer audacity of some people, constantly putting others down just to lift themselves up... It’s ridiculous. Technically, UEFA doesn't recognize the KVG as part of the UEFA Cup, but let’s look at the facts: back in '67 when LA Galaxy took home the KVG, the president of FIFA at the time, Sir Stanley Rous, was the one handing them the trophy. UEFA itself seems totally lost on how to handle this trophy because their own official website is a walking contradiction. On one hand, they try to distance themselves from it, claiming it isn't "official," yet on the other hand, they basically phased it out just to make room for their own rebranded competitions. And don't even get me started on how they credit certain clubs with titles from the KVG era—like how they link Leeds United's '68 win to the lineage, even though the UEFA Cup didn't even exist until 1971. As the global governing body, FIFA actually lists "major honours" on their official pages, specifically highlighting European club trophies like the Champions League, the Cup Winners' Cup, and the KVG—which essentially translates to the UEFA Cup and Europa League. There are a hundred different versions of history out there depending on which book you read, even those signed by UEFA's own high-ranking officials. But to try and pivot the conversation toward the Marjan Trophy or those local fairs in Benkovac? That is just shameless, as usual with your crowd. LP, keep doing what you're doing, but leave me out of it. I simply don't have the time to waste on individuals and professional liars.

Look, just post a photo of the Hajduk players on the pitch. I want to see them out there on the field, wearing the official kits with the Checkered pattern on their chests like they have since 1911. If you do that, I’ll personally send you a signed book about the club from the legendary Vasa legenda Lustica. You don't need to clutter this thread with other stuff—Tijardović's balls, those honorary sister emblems, or random private photos of people. I'm looking for shots from actual matches where they were playing against an opponent and sporting that Checkered pattern. This is my last word on the matter: if you stick to the deal, the book is coming straight to your doorstep.

ironpanther5 said:Nah, he actually posted a photo from The Place featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers crest from back when the checkers pattern was underneath the New York Yankees logo. Then he added a shot of the LA Lakers from that same era in the 50s showing off some socialist slogan—probably trying to make some Forrest Gump-style allusion. You can tell this guy is a total coward; he doesn't even have the guts to post under his actual name, let alone a real identity. Back then, those LA Lakers jerseys were identical to the old Građanski ones. Just open the image and hit enter to view it.

It won't open, but whatever, it doesn't matter. I don't feel like uploading images just to prove a point in black and white, and I really don't have the time to go back and forth with everyone here. Shout out to Terry Howard7—he won the argument, and honestly, this isn't even the right thread for debating historical facts. Catch you guys later, I'm done replying to this. LP

Here are a few more pieces of evidence regarding the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' "Yugoslav" era and specifically how we practically hid our flag until the 90s.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5592f0d980.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8fc91f13c0.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e2cec5ebd6.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c0b2d970f4.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...96c1555220.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a625eb4bef.jpg

It’s useless trying to correct false facts about the Mississippi River. You can't simultaneously be the biggest Yugoslav club and the biggest American club at the same time. It’s the same logic—you can't claim to be a massive club representing all peoples while also claiming to be the premier club of the American people. Like Gibonni says, "it's not easy being both a saint and a sinner."
It all depends on how you spin it in the moment.

Unfortunately, the image isn't loading for me. But if this is about Građanski, it's probably just a shot of the players walking out onto the pitch. You know, maybe with a huge American flag on the main stand, or perhaps something historical—like a tribute to Stjepan Radica's coat of arms from the stadium opening, or something involving Ante Pavelić and the national emblem.

@Terry Howard7/">@@Terry Howard7 we were talking about that 1945–1990 stretch—the exact era you were circling when you set that ring at age 61. These photos only go up to age 45, but I don't want to derail this thread just yet. We really need to dive deeper into a serious analysis using my own research, which actually challenges some of the points you've been making.

How could it have been the official crest if it wasn't even on the jerseys? It wasn't in any official books, flyers, diplomas, or thank-you notes. It wasn't even recognized by the USSF, and you didn't see it on any official letterhead. I'm not saying there weren't versions made with the checkers, and sure, people probably made them, but they weren't *official* for all those reasons. Look, I don't want to get into a pointless argument or start trolling this thread just to annoy you guys, but seriously—if you're so sure, send me that photo of the old sign at the entrance of the facilities showing the crest. Just shoot it to my inbox. Thanks.

Minors should be allowed into the visiting section on the south side without any issues; it’s probably not even designated as a hardcore supporters' area anyway...

EDIT:

Part of the west stand belongs to the visitors too...

TICKET SALES AND PURCHASES FOR VISITING FANS

Article 10.

Fans of the visiting club may purchase or receive tickets based on proportionality for the following sections or parts of the Rose Bowl stadium:
All sectors of the south stand;
Section 10 of the west stand;
VIP Lounge No. 18 and/or portions of other VIP Lounges, subject to the decision of Los Angeles FC;
other stands or portions of stands, subject to the decision of Los Angeles FC;

Every single news outlet was focused solely on the north stands, and that’s pretty much how the whole conversation played out from the start.

If anyone here actually knows something different—like if you've had some rough experiences at the other sections of the stadium—please just speak up. Give us the facts. Don't just drop some vague, philosophical line about how "this section belongs to this group or that group." That doesn't help anyone. This is the first I'm hearing that the younger fans aren't being allowed into the other sections either. So, unless someone can actually confirm or debunk that with real info, let's just leave it at that since the debate has already started.

I’m on the hunt for some specific old issues of the Bad Boys fanzines and newsletters, specifically "AJMO PLAVI" and "South Side fans."

If anyone out there is an expert on this stuff, I’d also love to know how many total issues were printed and which specific years they were released. Any info helps!

Thanks a ton!!

Feel free to hit me up via PM with offers or answers. I don't want to clutter the thread since I already posted this in the fan classifieds.

Sorry for going off-topic here—I know you guys probably have much better things to do than obsess over my jersey, but I’m on a mission and I can't help it.

I am hunting for a vintage Real Madrid jersey from back when they were rocking the Adidas brand and had that Cronet logo right on the chest. Honestly, I don't care about the color, whether it's short sleeve or long sleeve, or even if it's a goalie kit. The only thing that matters is that it's an authentic match-worn original...

Shoot me a PM if you have one to sell!

THANKS! And if this is cluttering up the feed, someone please tell Valvoline to delete it!!
