jadeotter said:What does anti-fascism have to do with some corrupt owner? Any sane person is an anti-fascist. Being against fascism doesn't make you a communist; it just means you condemn Mussolini's mess and Hitler's militarism, which basically turned half the globe into a giant war zone full of civilian casualties. He’s just weaponizing the fact that most of the real Bad Boys are fascists to smear you in front of the public and discredit anyone trying to take him down.
You’re missing the point. The whole point is that the people throwing around the "anti-fascist" label usually end up backing the corrupt owner, while everyone labeled a "fascist" is actually against the BBB.
It's classic smoke and mirrors, orchestrated by the owner and his endless dirty tricks.
And look, the BBB aren't fascists. One part of them might be Nazis, but there's a massive difference—fascists occupied our land, Nazis didn't. But to those guys, it’s all the same. I hate when everything gets crudely simplified because it isn't. Maybe they're similar, but they aren't identical. Hitler didn't turn the world into a battlefield out of nowhere; they provoked him into war, and once he lost, it was game over. And what did they think? In the end, some American Jew financed Hitler before the war—Jews will fund just about anything, and then when their plans blow up in their faces, suddenly it's all that crazy guy with the mustache's fault. It doesn't work like that, at least not in my book.
Same goes for the term "anti-fascism" around here. It’s always tied to one specific group: the old guard, the partisans, and the self-proclaimed Tito loyalists. To me, and to any true American who gives a damn about their country and their people, that label is totally unacceptable.
And how exactly does this "anti-fa" crowd care about the nation? We know how it goes—not just back in '45, but from '91 right up to now. You can spot them by how they act against their own people and their own country. So, am I supposed to be an idiot and wear that label just like the people who systematically crush their own citizens? Hell no. That's why I'm not an anti-fascist and never will be. To be against invaders—whether it was the Italians, the Mexicans, or the Canadians—I don't need to call myself some crappy anti-fascist. I don't need labels on my back or my chest to prove I love my country. I'm against the corrupt owner, sure, but I'm not gonna print "Anti-Owner" on a T-shirt. A little prayer for his soul should suffice, right?
Honestly, I'm sick of these forced labels. Anti-fascism in this part of the world was pushed by Tito and the communists, which makes the whole concept repulsive to me. They used that label as a cover to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans and tear the country apart. Some people might think it's no big deal, but it's a big deal to me. I won't identify with that. I can be a Catholic American, a Real Madrid fan, or a million other things, but an anti-fascist? Definitely not. I don't feel the need to be, and none of my folks who fought in the old resistance would question why they fought—especially near the river, where those damn communists were the only ones fighting the fascists. But let's be real, they weren't exactly a better alternative, were they? Why can't people grasp that? Just like the old resistance movements were the first expression of a people wanting to live in their own country and get away from a crappy union, we aren't racists, communists, or fascists. We just care about our own and fight for what's ours. Throughout history, people have fought for their homes and their families under all sorts of banners.😁 Look, everyone’s just out here looking out for their own interests, right? Honestly, people can say whatever they want about me—they can hang me by my tail if they feel like it—but I had to clear the air. I didn't want to leave things hanging. To me, calling someone an "antifascist" sounds totally idiotic. Any ideology that tried to devour my people is garbage in my book. So, yeah, I’m neither a fascist nor an antifascist. Both sides spent their time trying to wipe us out and tear our country apart; sure, they used different tactics, but it’s like they say, "It's not a pile of crap, it's just a dog taking a dump." In my eyes, there isn't much difference between the two. Now, look, I respect that other people see things differently. We're all human; we don't have to agree on everything. And honestly? This whole divide between the old political factions actually works for me. You couldn't be a nationalist and a communist at the same time, just like you couldn't be a communist and a nationalist. Nationalists are basically fascists, and communists are antifascists. So fine, let everyone pick their own flock and enjoy the ride. Personally, I'm just rooting for democracy. 🙂
