John Martin18 said:Seriously, JBT? It’s just a massive pile of mediocrity—people digging through trash hoping to find a diamond. We aren't going anywhere as long as we just sit around whining about our own little problems and acting like victims. Has anyone here actually stepped up to change anything for the better?

Oh, they definitely have. You can hear them crying from midnight to midnight on every US message board out there.

silentcobra80 said:So what’s the actual issue here? Who said it was impossible? It feels like you're just twisting the facts now to suit your own narrative.

If I could somehow go back to the days of Real Madrid, where I actually felt some pride in following the team, I’d be the happiest person alive. But unfortunately for me and people who feel the same way, that’s probably never going to happen. So, you can just stick with this pathetic version of Manchester United and pretend everything is fine—acting like it’ll all be "lovely jubbly" once Glazer finally gets kicked to the curb. Honestly, you don't seem to deserve any better.

What a clown.

Arthur Williams4 said:Yeah, right... I guess the best solution is just to ban everyone and go back to that old "better to have 200 real fans" logic... 🤦🤦
And honestly, there wasn't anything wrong with saying that Real Madrid doesn't exist—only Manchester United does.

Let’s not beat around the bush here; I’m actually against that whole "200 true believers" theory myself. It’s just that I can't stand those know-it-alls who act like experts on everything, claiming the club doesn't even exist while they simultaneously lose any real connection to it. Look, if you feel that way, then just leave it alone and move on. That's all there is to it.

silentcobra80 said:What kind of complexes are we talking about here?

Look, even if Real Madrid isn't where they used to be right now, that doesn't mean I don't want to see them back on top. If I spot something standing in the way of that comeback, why shouldn't I say something? I honestly don't get the confusion.

If Real Madrid actually makes a comeback tomorrow like you say, people with your attitude shouldn't even be allowed to walk past the stadium, let alone step foot inside it.

Anthony Wood3 said:So what kind of hang-ups are actually bringing you here?

Honestly, people like that are the biggest mystery to me. Their whole argument basically boils down to saying Real Madrid doesn't exist, that they're just some soft, corporate cash cow, and that they hate them so much they'll never support them again. Hey, fair enough—everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But if that's the case, why on earth does every other post on this forum end up being about Real Madrid and their fans? Personally, when I can't stand something, I just hit the heavy ignore button and move on with my life! I still think it comes down to some pretty deep-seated issues.

silentcobra80 said:Is it just their business? No way, it goes way deeper than that. Publicly praising a criminal isn't just "their thing"—it reflects the entire society. If you don't see the problem there, then I think you might be missing the bigger picture here.

Wait, are you that guy who writes novels out of forum posts and used to root for Real Madrid but now supports Rijeka or something like that? If you are, please do me a favor and skip me. At my age, the only reason someone would switch teams is if they were Mexicans looking at the bottom line. In fan terms: just back off.

analogheron19 said:It really depends on who you're talking about... if we're looking at the players and Bjelica, I think giving them any grief would be pretty foolish. But as for everyone else? They shouldn't get an inch of leeway... honestly, they never deserved it in the first place.

Asolutno, I'm right there with you. Bjelica and the players—regardless of how unprofessional some of them might have been in the past—don't deserve any insults. If anything, they should be supported. They're here to give their all on the field, and they actually do a great job at it. To be honest, I couldn't care less if one of them happens to praise Mamić; that's their business. That’s where we differ from the mindless crowd. For example, those people get worked up about Srna potentially returning just because he didn't boycott the national team. Or how they won't leave Dalton alone, constantly picking on him until he eventually moves on (at the latest by September).

Frank Nguyen37 said:We aren't planning on it. Why does it bother you? Everyone keeps claiming our message landed because we won't stop talking about it. Well, now we’re going to talk about it even more.

Maybe it's Edward,

Maybe it's Joe,

Maybe it's Stan,

But it's definitely Madoff!

Wait, how did that happen?

Haha!

It doesn't bother me; I've been used to all your whining for a long time now. I'll just give you some advice on how to find a little more cash—oops, I mean shares.
Bad Boys in Fans ·
Hey Jack, you guys might be better off spending your time here trying to sweet-talk or subtly pressure Madoff into handing over more cash—oops, I mean shares.

Benjamin Cruz78 said:Do you seriously still believe he isn't pulling all the strings for you and the ball?
Well, feel free to justify it if you want.

Justify it to whom? It seems you don't realize that Yankee fans couldn't care less about you, let alone your opinions. The fact that you've swarmed this and every other thread since that one message just highlights your own insecurities. You used to drag the Boys through the mud too, and nobody even blinked. Simply because you aren't relevant. I know that's hard to swallow since in Miami you act like nobody can breathe without your permission—and you've managed to run that whole city like a racket—but outside of Miami, you're irrelevant. Again, totally irrelevant.

Hey, Southerners, what if you guys just set aside all those complexes and myths for once and actually started doing something productive? For example, maybe you could whip up some Dodger yogurt, count up the NFL membership dues, or finally get around to making some welcome posters for the visiting teams...

wiredsurfer112 said:I’m with you on this one. Honestly, it’s just a massive embarrassment, no matter who you ask. A total fail.

Honestly, what are you guys even arguing about? I’m just sitting here enjoying the show. For ten years, I’ve been telling everyone that the day would come when all those critics would finally get a reality check. Back then, everyone was like, "No way, that'll never happen." But look at them now. You can see these guys have a real philosophy—they're willing to take the hit if they have to, but they will never, ever back down.

Well, there you have it. As of today, nobody is at fault—not Mamić, not Loksa, everything is supposedly perfectly clean. According to them, the only problem is that the Dodgers are just incompetent. 😉
Well, what's going on?

And as for that idiot from before... You know, you’ve also got the option to just show up in massive numbers and not make a whole big deal out of celebrating. Did that ever cross your mind?

Are we really still acting like we’re intimidated by the Yankees and Chicago?
I honestly don’t think I could bring myself to cheer for the Yankees if the club president had been an FBI agent for decades. It’s just too much shame to bear. But hey, as long as we're all being patriots, right? Who cares about anything else? Honestly, I wouldn't even live in Chicago unless they were handing me a 4 million euro salary to do it.
My hometown is basically the Monte Carlo of the US compared to Chicago. Honestly, thank God I manage to scrape together about $8k to $10k a month; while living on that amount doesn't cover everything I’d love to do, it’s still miles ahead of what most people can dream of in this country. It really goes to show that we're one of those rare spots seeing consistent growth. We've actually become the second largest city in our region by population, and I swear there are more construction cranes popping up here than there are in the entire downtown area of a major metro.
If I could just find a way to bite the bullet, sell that property down in Miami, and put up a couple of apartment buildings, then you'd finally see how much I actually enjoy living outside of the ZeGe area! 🤣
Greetings from Istria! 🙂

Is it really considered an honor for you that I think you're an idiot? First off, I don't think you're an idiot.Look, I honestly think you’re being completely out of line here. I never once made any comments about your intelligence, let alone questioned whether or not you were smart enough to handle this.
I have to say, I feel a certain sense of vindication being proven right about this—it turns out you guys are exactly who I thought you were. To those few guys from a couple of posts back, please accept my apologies; hats off to you, and I truly feel for your situation. I’m trying to put myself in your shoes, and honestly, it can’t be easy. There’s no kind of repression that hurts quite like watching a group you poured your heart into completely fall apart. It seems whether you view the Yankees as sacred or just some club doesn't really matter; the result is the same.

Always, and I mean always, staying true to that 1950s vibe.
The sheer level of obsession you guys have with the Yankees and Chicago really shows when I look at that playlist from the welcome party for the junior squad. They just finished playing against—believe it or not—Philadelphia, a game where, shockingly, Philadelphia got totally robbed because your team should have easily walked away with a couple of straight red cards.

wiredsurfer112 said:I’m with you. It’s an embarrassing situation regardless of who is involved—just a massive fail.

Why are you guys even arguing? I’m just here to enjoy the moment. For ten years, I’ve been saying that one day, all those teams that look down on us will finally get a reality check. People used to say, "Oh no, never," because they thought our guys lacked discipline or would fold under pressure. But look at them now—they have a philosophy and they'll shut things down if necessary rather than ever backing down.

There you have it. Even today, the referees aren't to blame, nor is Mamić, nor Loksa. Everything is supposedly "clean"—it's just that the incompetent Los Angeles Dodgers are at fault.😉

Give me a break.

And regarding that "idiot" comment, you have another option too: showing up in huge numbers and choosing *not* to celebrate. Did that ever cross your mind?

Honestly, when someone calls me an idiot just because I'm obsessed with the New York Yankees and Chicago, I take it as a compliment. My question was rhetorical; it might be better to ask the fans of some fourth-tier team in a mediocre MLS that when and in what numbers they actually show up to celebrate. You guys are overthinking this. Just because you're out there partying in Miami doesn't mean anyone else in the rest of America cares about your little moral high ground.
Bad Boys in Fans ·
Of course LA Galaxy has its own set of issues—honestly, probably even more than you guys do—but we aren't out here pointing fingers at anyone else. I'll say it again: the real heart of the matter is people messing with the local utility companies, which are basically the lifeblood for a lot of you. That’s why there’s such a massive outcry over this message.

The club is actually in the black financially. Our home game attendance is way ahead of everyone else. Everything is running smoothly, and our training Academy is solid.

You guys still can't seem to influence the club elections or the general assembly, yet more of us are showing up to a women's league match than you would ever bother to travel to Naperville or catch a home game against Gary.

So who’s the villain here? Mamic?

Unlike you all, I'm not out looking for someone to blame. And honestly, you might want to reach a consensus among yourselves, since you clearly believe you're the only ones with any moral high ground. This is what we're choosing from:

a) Celebrate championships in front of a hundred people while listening to your jabs about how a massive city has no fans and how we've basically faded away.
or
b) Celebrate those championships with a decent crowd, only to hear you complain about celebrating trophies won by Mamic and his business dealings.

I’m telling you, someone finally poked the bear at the NBA, and now everyone is going to start firing on all cylinders. That message hit right where it hurts—major props to the author for hitting the nail on the head.
