Thanks a ton for getting back to me so fast! 👍

Can I just change my handle to Morgan Walker2?
Mostly because it’s shorter. Less typing, right?
I checked the rules and didn't see anything about it. Thanks in advance!

Sure thing, just shoot a message over to Nick.

If they decide to freeze my funds, I’ll just head down to the local branch and withdraw everything in cash... besides, the account is working perfectly fine, just as it always has.

So what did they actually say to you when you refused to fill out the form for your personal checking account? Did you try throwing any legal jargon at them or citing those rules mentioned above?

Maybe someone just gave them a heads-up that they were overdoing it. Word travels fast when things go wrong, right? 😳

- Average monthly income, regular:
- Other sources of income ($):

It is a tragedy when a bank feels compelled to ask me these things, even though they possess more data than I do:
- Monthly volume of cash transactions ($):
- Average annual account turnover ($):
- Country where most business is conducted:
- Do you engage in international transactions?:

I am referring to an account that sees perhaps $0.67 deposits and withdrawals annually, mostly just for gas and groceries. There is no overdraft. Despite all their software, hardware, and data sets... they remain incapable of distinguishing which users need scrutiny and which do not. It is mere intimidation and evasion of logic.

In my experience, other countries in the USA don't flag every single client as a suspect; instead, they target only those who meet specific criteria.

Nope.

darkmaker94 said:Is anyone else getting harassed by other banks about this questionnaire, or is it just JPMorgan Chase?

I’ve got accounts at JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, but only JPMorgan Chase is breathing down my neck to fill this out. What’s wild is I already did the whole thing in person at a branch a few months back, yet the damn thing just popped up on my online banking again the other day. 😵

My mom uses Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase, and she’s getting the exact same treatment—only JPMorgan Chase is hounding her about it. They've already sent her two letters telling her she needs to get down to the bank ASAP to finish the paperwork. 🙄

It feels like JPMorgan Chase is the only one taking this "obligation" so seriously.

Yeah, looks like Citigroup is the only one being this aggressive with the questionnaire—calling people's homes, texting them, sending those letters, calling them to come in... it's constant.
They are seriously relentless.🙄 From what I’ve gathered from some folks who actually know the rules, there isn't even a legal basis for them to badger people into filling this out if they don't want to. Everything necessary was handled when the account was first opened... none of this applies to them. If they actually suspect someone of money laundering or terrorism, they should just call the FBI and be done with it.

Honestly, I think I'm gonna start looking for a new bank. I’ve been meaning to do it anyway, but these guys are driving me up the wall. I just want some peace and quiet. I'm a totally low-maintenance client: no debt, no overdrafts, no loans—I just want to grab my paycheck from the ATM and not have to deal with them.

Even a few years ago, whenever I had to visit a branch (nowadays I just stick to the ATM), I'd constantly get stuck at the teller window. Usually after waiting forever in line when I was already in a rush, too! And then comes the nagging: "Could you please fill out this form? Could you please take this survey?" They’d practically shove the papers in your face, and if you said you were in a hurry, the staff would give you this huge attitude. I know other banks don't push it this hard or act this rude, but Citigroup is hands down the most annoying about it. Most of the time, I'd just cave and do it because I knew they'd just bother me again next time.

Well, I'm done with the harassment. I've had it up to here with them.
Since you can't actually delete a profile on here, I was wondering about something. Looking back at some of the older threads, I noticed some users have their nicknames written in tiny font with "n/a" sitting right underneath them. I mean, I get that n/a usually stands for "not available" or "not applicable," but what’s the deal in this specific context? What does that actually signify for those accounts?

Awesome, thanks!

Just wondering, though... do other banks have these weird little quirks like JPMorgan Chase does?

Thanks.

I was only asking because we actually dealt with this nightmare at JP Morgan Chase before. They used to sit on our money for like 3 or 4 days—and I’m not even counting the weekend! This was just moving cash from one account to another within JP Morgan Chase. It happened more than once, too. Money just... vanished for days. 😕Can you believe that? 🙄

Hey everyone, based on what you guys have seen, how long does an online transfer take when I'm moving money from my Chase account over to someone else's Wells Fargo account?

Like, if I hit send on a transfer at 3 AM, will they actually see that cash sitting in their Wells Fargo account by the time they wake up in the morning?
Chalazion on my eyelid - any advice? in Health ·
coastalpanther62 said:I could really use some advice here...

A little bump has popped up on my upper eyelid. I have a hunch it might be a clogged gland, probably from using certain eye creams or facial masks 🙂
The thing doesn't actually hurt, but it's grown quite large by now and it’s becoming pretty noticeable...
The only solution I've managed to find so far involves a surgical procedure where they essentially flip the eyelid, which is definitely not an option I'm looking for right now 😲

Does anyone know of any other way to get rid of this that doesn't involve a trip to the hospital?

Hey, have you tried doing warm compresses on it? Like, several times a day for about 15 minutes? That can sometimes unblock a clogged gland. Give it a shot!

It might just clear up on its own, though I don't know how long you've had it. Anyway, there are "conservative" ways to handle this. It doesn't necessarily mean you'll need surgery—and even if you do, I'm guessing it would just be a quick outpatient thing, nothing where you'd actually have to stay overnight at a hospital.

Try the warm compress trick (heat some water on the stove—make sure it's warmer than tap water, but don't burn yourself!) and make some little gauze pads. Hold them there for 15-20 minutes. Maybe it'll soften things up and "unclog" the whole mess.
