This is the official thread where you can request a change to your username.
A few quick notes:
Note: The administration reserves the right to accept or deny any nickname correction request, even if it falls outside these specific rules.

- Requests such as a change from Mark to John or something similar are not allowed. The only exception for a total nickname overhaul is for profiles with fewer than 50 posts. Minor corrections that are
actually - permitted include adjusting capitalization or any slight tweak that does not change the core meaning of your handle. It’s important that your identity remains recognizable. For example:
- to timothy jackson2 or timmy. New nicknames are restricted strictly to letters and spaces. Adding any other symbols isn't allowed (like dashes, dots, asterisks, etc.).
*A period is only okay if it serves as an initial, provided the period isn't the only thing separating the requested name from the current one
**Additionally, please don't ask for a period if your entire handle or most of it would consist solely of initials - to timothy jackson2 or timmy. New nicknames are restricted strictly to letters and spaces. Adding any other symbols isn't allowed (like dashes, dots, asterisks, etc.).
- Please do not reach out if you have already changed your nickname once before.
Before submitting a formal request to change your name, please give this a read as well:

In cases where the name you want is taken, but that user hasn't logged in for years and has very few (or zero) posts, there is a possibility we might approve your request anyway. The administration will decide whether or not to grant such exceptions. The admin team is not obligated
to provide a detailed explanation for why a request was accepted or denied. - How to check if a name is available: 1. Click on Member List at the top of the forum page.
