Sebastian Vettel was just spinning his wheels out there, honestly. All Alonso really did was reclaim his spot, and he did it with absolute precision. 🙏

Ah, okay, that makes sense. 😁 I didn't catch that properly because my stream keeps cutting out on me constantly.
Hey everyone, hope you’re all having a good one. Throw a donut my way if you can. 😁
Seriously though, why on earth did they put them back in their original grid positions? It makes zero sense to me, and don't even get me started on the possibility of a restart under the Safety Car... 🤷
It’s been half an hour already, how much longer is this actually going to take... ☕
Since someone decided to drag this ridiculous topic back up, I felt compelled to step in and defend this underrated gem. Honestly, I’ve thought Treasure Planet was an incredible animated feature since the old days of the industry. They stayed true to the original pirate essence while wrapping it in these fantastical space settings, which turned out to be such a clever, innovative fusion. They basically built their own unique universe.👍 Besides, J. J. Abrams pulled half his ideas for his Star Trek film right from this very concept (some elements are practically IDENTICAL, yet audiences swallowed them whole in the movie while people just roll their eyes at this animation—so who’s actually crazy here?🤣). My point is, there is definitely an audience for movies like this, and it’s a shame they don't make them anymore.😢 If this thread is going to stay dedicated to comparing Disney's cartoons, the moderators should at least change the title to reflect that.

The guys are a bit lost here...😂
It’s like they put this schedule together last year while everyone was busy obsessing over moving everything over to the Circuit of the Americas.🤣
This is one of those rare instances where I’m actually crossing my fingers that the movie itself manages to outshine its trailers, which were surprisingly mediocre. Usually, it’s the exact opposite and the hype just ruins everything. Still, I’ll head to the theater and see how it plays out, though I can already tell those obnoxious kids in the film are going to drive me absolutely insane.
heh, looks like one of our guys actually came up with the villain's name😁
I'm expecting a fun movie, though honestly, it could have been something much more substantial than this.
Since everyone keeps saying Cage is right at home in these kinds of flicks, if the whole thing manages to capture even a fraction of the vibe from National Treasure—and I mean the first one, not the sequel—then I'll be perfectly happy.🙂

Every single car looks basically identical lately, though I guess that Renault with its bright yellow livery adds a tiny bit of life to the whole parade.
Exactly, but honestly, I've felt this way for a long time now.
When I think back to when the Silver Arrows actually looked silver and black, or those bright yellow Jordan cars, that old blue Benetton, the green Jaguar, or the classic blue and yellow Renault...🙂 you could tell exactly who was who from a mile away. I have this old recording of Monza somewhere from back in '98, I think, showing how beautiful and colorful all those cars looked lined up on the starting grid. Everything nowadays just feels like a blurry, monotonous mess.
Hey there, fellow racing fans. Thanks for sending over that livestream link (honestly, I'm so done with ski season...)
Big congrats to Vettel.👍 Massa taking the No. 2 spot means things are going to get heated at the start tomorrow. I guess spring is finally here now that the Grand Prix season is kicking off.😍
Schumacher finishing seventh—hey, happy number.😁 Man, this is shaping up to be one hell of a season.
If I actually used the Oscar as my own personal yardstick for the best movie out of a lineup... Frost / Nixon would be my pick. I remember popping in the DVD right after lunch, mostly just because I felt like I had to, though I was feeling pretty unmotivated that day and almost turned it off. But then, it just grabbed me by the throat and I sat there glued to the screen until the very end, staring at that masterpiece without even blinking—it felt more intense than some high-octane action flick. And all they're doing is two guys sitting in armchairs having a conversation.🤣Pure mastery.🙏
I saw Million Dollar Baby in theaters and didn't find it particularly special. That whole quiz sequence was honestly getting on my nerves the entire time. But, like you guys said, it's exactly the kind of movie that's expected to sweep the Academy Awards.
I can't be entirely objective here since I haven't seen The Reader yet.
The US premiere is happening this Wednesday (09/09/09 😁).
But honestly, I’m sitting here wondering if this will ever actually make its way over to us. I haven't seen a single mention of it on CNN.🤷If they don't pick up the rights until next year, I'll just have to figure out some other way to watch it, because I'm genuinely dying to see this animation.
Based on the poster and the premise, I honestly thought this was something we'd all seen before, but then I realized it just reminded me of Bedtime Story, a movie where I also only ever saw the poster and the synopsis without actually sitting down to watch it. At first glance, these two films sound identical.
I might actually give this one a shot, though, mostly because the cast looks pretty interesting. 🙂
So, it follows the book then... I guess it couldn't have gone any other way, really.
I mean, a few weeks back I saw the poster and caught a couple of lines from the tagline, and I honestly thought, "Finally, a movie actually made for me." 😁 But nope, it’s just more kids and weirdos again. I was really hoping for a completely different kind of approach... what a massive letdown. 😢
It is a brilliant concept, though. That whole idea of a city lit up by lightbulbs.
Maybe I'll give it a watch just for that one reason. 🙂
