Every single year we make the trip down to Čapljina.... We drive from Los Angeles to visit friends out there, taking our local guys in a bus that's packed to the gills—for the ST fans, obviously—and even compared to those "visiting" supporters, the ratio is essentially identical.... 🤣 Not to mention the roads through those tiny little towns like Trilj.... absolute nightmare drivers.... That "little" Perković girl wouldn't stand a chance against them... In any extreme sense—even if I hate using that word—you don't have a prayer... it's been proven multiple times..... neither in Canada nor in Herzegovina 😉

Where exactly are we going with this...?🙂

Looking at those photos Melissa Kelly3 posted a couple of pages back—the ones showing how empty the stands were—it’s clear a huge chunk of the crowd is missing... for instance, we didn't even get in until the 25th minute, and there were still two full buses of fans supposed to arrive behind us. The guys traveling with me didn't make it inside until around the 50th minute...
Regardless, the losing side outplayed us again, though I have no intention of writing another novel about it... and that certain individual has some nerve insulting people after they commented... he's basically saying we should just shut up and take it, damn him.

I attended a wedding in some rural area out there recently, and for a moment, I actually felt "at home." Then it started... they played "Bili bili" forty-two times in one night. Then came "Nosi mi se bila boja," followed by more weeping and wailing, until my brother finally lost his mind and flipped the table. Even our own relatives won't talk to us now...
