Let them drive. Honestly, let them go wild... even if all 20 cars end up in the wall. A few red flags won't hurt, and then we can get to the fun part: watching the crews clear the wreckage in Monaco as fast as possible.

Come onnnnnnnn... just drive!

Right, well, to me, it looked more like he just slapped some white tape on the helmet and left whatever residue was left over from him bumping his head against the car. 🤦

Zinedine Zidane was in Paris yesterday for the LP final, and today he's in Monaco for the race. What a life he leads. 🙏

He’s really hitting his stride in life. 🤣

Spot on.

It’s all there, just without the wet part. 🙄

Now they’re probably just waiting for a massive downpour so they can scrap the race and push it to tomorrow. 🙂🤦

Liberty Media is absolutely clueless. 🙄
If the race had actually started on time at 2:00 PM like it was supposed to, everything would have gone fine.

Absolutely. Honestly, the entire management team and race organizers need a total overhaul.
It’s like Bernie Ecclestone being reborn to take charge again... everything would be fine, except maybe the medals and the trackside celebrations.

I honestly can't believe it... 😲 it's starting to pour rain... 😲
It feels like the sky is falling. 🙈🙈

It was Alonso. 🤦 Just before the Loews turn. 🤦

Good luck Tibby. And Sebastian Vettel, wishing you even more luck tomorrow.

And I hope we see some rain—the kind of useful, strategic rain that keeps things interesting during the race. 🙂🙂
Let's bring back that 1996 Monaco vibe.
Or maybe that wild Monaco race from '82 (or was it '81?).
Monaco GP - May 29, 2022 @ 3:00 PM in Formula 1 ·
There's still plenty of spark left in Sebastian Vettel. 👍

My wallet is feeling the sting too, since I actually put some money down on Gasly. 🤦🤦

Do we think we're looking at a red flag?
Or is it still a bit too early to call it?

They seemed to have some kind of incident every single race—and I don't just mean at Monaco, but just generally speaking.
Back in my day, Andrea de Cesaris was basically famous for making a mess of things every single F1 weekend.

In my era, Andrea de Cesaris was a living legend.

swiftmaker12 said:A good number of them will probably end up shifting the barriers at Monaco
They used to bang into them all the time back in the day—so I don't see why they wouldn't now, especially since the cars are about 25% larger than they were a decade ago.

Every legendary driver has rattled those barriers, and if today's soft drivers won't, then who will?

Ayrton Senna during the '88 race, just out of nowhere
Michael Schumacher in '96 during a warm-up lap after taking pole,
Jenson Button in the Wehrlein 2017 era when he was swapping places with Alonso
It doesn't take much deep thinking to realize how easily you can tear through a safety barrier in Monaco.

It seems like none of you sheep have actually been to Monaco during a race weekend, yet here you are talking nonsense and acting like seasoned F1 experts.
In reality, you probably have zero connection to everyday life, let alone the world of racing.

Trolling again? 🤣🤣

EDIT: Look, regarding "everyday life" (and F1 for that matter), we're just lucky enough to be able to cover our mortgage here in the States and still have plenty left over for groceries and a decent meal.

On another note... that was a very intense FP3. I’m expecting a high-stakes qualifying session. Lots of tension and excitement ahead in qualifying.

So it looks like what I was dropping recently is actually hitting the mark. Red Bull Racing is shaping up to be the only real move left for Alonso, but apparently, Daniel Ricciardo is looking at the same desperate situation too.

......but there's only one seat available at Alpine for the two of them.

There's a first time for everything, so we'll just have to wait and see if this happens... 😁

FP2, red flag; Oh, Daniel Ricciardo, what's going on with you? 🤦🤦

Is it a fear of being let go too soon?

Ayrton’s legacy is timeless. He lives on forever. 🙏🙏👍👍
