Sam Clark75 said:Do you realize how much of this race we've spent just staring at the wreckage of Louis's car? It’s basically been watching a junk heap struggle to keep up with Gasly while fighting for 13th place.

Honestly, the discussion here on the forums is way more exciting than the actual action out on the track in San Marino.
Jacob Castillo70 said:It’s hilarious how Nico plays both sides while trying to praise George 🤣

Well, maybe he needs that release... it's been a while since they've had any fun together... 🕺
Where’s that rain? 🤦
Over here, it’s absolutely pouring... just constant downpours every ten minutes. It would be the perfect setup for a race.

A race can be just as exciting without DRS. We really need some rain to shake things up and mix the deck.

Ted, the ball is in your court. 🤦
Albon is absolutely flying out there. 👍
Douglas Roberts49 said:They should probably wait until the weather clears up before making any moves; better safe than sorry when it comes to the rain.

Exactly! 🙏🙏
Sending all my best to the honey badger... 👍👍
Douglas Roberts49 said:The commentators are really missing the mark here... both our local guys and those folks over in the neighboring states.
Just give us some heavy rain already.

If we don't get a downpour, this race is going to be a total wash.👎

I might just pass out from the excitement
I can only dream of one day getting to stroll down the grid right before the green flag drops....

Man, don't go passing out on us!
Just soak it all in for both of us. 👍👍
Douglas Roberts49 said:Who’s taking the win today—Sainz or Perez?

If Lewis Hamilton doesn't pull it off today, Sergio Perez is going to walk away with the trophy. 🤣🤣

In typical fashion, Fernando Alonso is feeling pretty optimistic about it:

graniteharbor502 said:So, does the forecast still call for rain tomorrow? 🎉

That’s what the forecast is saying, anyway.
Let’s just stay patient for now and hope to see all 20 cars actually make it to the starting grid for the race.

🍿

Twenty cars just doesn't feel like enough for a full grid. I can't help but wonder when we'll finally see Andretti and Alpine join the fray in 2024.
Raymond Anderson4 said:........., KMag could have done it too.

Exactly. Such a shame.
There’s still a chance for a win, though. It might happen tomorrow instead of today—I suspect that rain forecast for tomorrow will change everything.
coastalwolf6 said:I’d take this over a sprint race any day. 🤣

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more. 👍

graniteharbor502 said:The race was honestly pretty dull. It reminded me of those old Trulli's trains.

Speaking of which... Looking at that internal battle within Mercedes, there weren't any glaring driving errors to point to; George Russell essentially emerged as the winner simply because track conditions played into his hands. In terms of raw pace, there was virtually no difference between him and Lewis Hamilton.

Yeah. Looking back at it now, that race was pretty dull. 👎
I really hope they finally get a chance to race in Australia. 👍 That is a crucial point.
Way to go, Alex Albon!

👍
Come on, let’s get one more Safety Car.
Hopefully soon.
Let's go, Alonso!!
crimsonjackal16 said:Will Russel be allowed to overtake Hamilton?

Not a chance. He isn't allowed to.
It’s no surprise that Norris (and Ricciardo) are playing the waiting game, right? 🤦
They have to get past those Bears first.
Timothy Castillo6 said:While we're on this break... Quick question: I'm assuming everyone's grabbing an espresso?

Coffee in hand, ready for the pre-race ritual. ☕

The coffee is brewing, and the race discussion is officially underway.
James Harris34 said:Max was disappointing again; he just made way too many mistakes this weekend.

Is someone—or something—getting under his skin?
