copperraven6 said:Get lost with that "anti-fascist" nonsense. Your club is basically in bed with the extremists anyway, so I don't see any reason for you to be posting here. 👍

Why on earth are you attacking him for no reason?

As for any talk of a showdown, the cops have been tailing them right off the pitch for the last two games... just like they did back in '99. But I guess what can you say when you don't even have the stones to remember it yourself?

It always seems like the Bad Boys are the ones getting the standing ovation from the crowd whenever they start chanting against those nationalists at the beginning of the game.
And then there was that collective moment during the Cup final where the mercenaries actually joined in, chanting "screw your mothers" in unison. Just absolute class.

Just a quick reminder... though I suspect someone like you might actually need it. 😉

I’ve been sitting here trying to make sense of this footage, and frankly, I’m struggling to find any logic in what we just witnessed. It’s one thing to have a bad game, but it’s quite another to see such a complete lack of cohesion on the field. I guess you could call it a collapse, though that might be too generous a term for what was essentially a disorganized scramble. The tactical setup looked amateurish from the jump. You can tell the coaching staff didn't have a cohesive plan for how to handle the pressure, and once that first goal went in, the whole structure just dissolved. It’s frustrating because you can see the talent there—it's clearly present—but without discipline, it's practically useless. Maybe if they had spent more time on basic positioning instead of hoping for individual brilliance, things might have gone differently. But that’s just my two cents. It really feels like a missed opportunity for the club. We had them on the ropes early on, yet somehow, we managed to hand them the momentum on a silver platter. I don't know, perhaps I'm being too harsh, but watching a team lose its composure like that is difficult to stomach when you're invested in their success. It wasn't just a loss; it was a breakdown in fundamental professionalism. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see if anyone actually learns anything from this disaster before the next match.

We should—and absolutely can—show up in front of the North Stand and make some noise; honestly, it’s our duty. Certain steps need to be taken that might, or rather, definitely lead to consequences, but those actions have to come from the Kansas City Chiefs organization, not from us fans. If we act out directly, they'll just use it as an excuse to step on the club again. Even if they do go after the club, it doesn't matter; the club needs to take this stand. For instance, when they tried that voucher scheme, we were the first ones to tell them to shove it, and the club ended up opening the away section despite regulations specifically designed to prevent it—even though following those rules would have triggered some ridiculous sanctions. We all know that was the final nail in the coffin for that voucher nonsense, which apparently still exists somehow. Just like now, the Chiefs MUST react. Some guy says there's no point in appealing because it costs 4 $0.00. Well, I say there is plenty of point, damn it. We, the fans, will scrape together the 4 $0.00 to file the appeal. And if the appeal gets rejected? Then at the next game, we treat the delegates and the refs like they're walking through a graveyard. Honestly, certain people in the media seem to have more backbone than the management. Let them head down to the central office and cause hell; let them drag this all the way to the Supreme Court if they have to. What is the point of having legal experts on the board if they don't use those skills to file private lawsuits against these people? They should keep fighting, even if they have to do it a hundred times a week, just to show that we actually mean something. The Black Knights wreck the seats, and then the Chiefs get punished because they weren't "good organizers"? Fine, whatever. But after that, we should launch a private lawsuit against the Black Knights for damages and against Seattle Sounders FC as well. That's how you play it. If they can screw us over whenever they feel like it, we can certainly push back—we just need to have the guts to do it. The biggest beast will retreat once you show it your teeth, and right now, these cowards are acting like they're fleeing the second a constructive plan is put in place. That's how they'll fall. We are the Kansas City Chiefs, and that name carries weight; we aren't some bottom-tier amateur squad.

Those damn seats... one person stands up and they start snapping like crazy.

Ryan Wilson8 said:So, I'm just passing along a post from a sports forum by this one guy.

Sorry to barge in here, but I have a little story that might interest you all. Is the Milwaukee Wave playing during this Hot Summer Night? Anyway, in front of a Walmart in Brooklyn, there was this guy—maybe 50 years old, wearing a Hajduk fan sweatshirt, with a heavy Chicago accent—just waiting for his underage daughter. A group of about 7 or 8 local high school kids who happened to be there started making some comments to him, basically asking, "Why would anyone wear something like that in Chicago?" It was totally benign, nothing aggressive or meant to start a physical fight. This guy gets a bit defensive, but everything stayed strictly verbal. His daughter walks out of the Walmart, hops in the car, and they leave.

Three minutes later, an emergency response vehicle pulls up, followed by that same guy along with another police van. This "Hajduk fan" starts yelling at the kids to get against the wall (he was clearly an off-duty cop) and tells the other officers that they attacked him. Meanwhile, our guy and an older man from Miami pull up to the Walmart in a car with Miami plates, and none of those kids even look at them. The older man tells the lead officer that he saw the whole thing, that nobody attacked anyone, and that this entire response is completely unnecessary. The epilogue: one kid gets detained. For absolutely no damn reason whatsoever.

Man, what a situation... it belongs in a "Believe It or Not" column... but seriously, what kind of behavior is that?

Nicholas Cruz2 was essentially playing in an entirely different dimension from the rest of the squad. I actually have a photo where you can see five Indianapolis players just steamrolling over him... and we should probably acknowledge that our guys were completely rattled; if you watch the start of the video, that massive crowd clearly caught them off guard. Plus, the fatigue factor is real after that heavy trip to Raymond James Stadium just three days ago (remember when the visitors beat us 3-1 there in front of a record 50,000 fans all chanting their team's name 😉).

Just so I don't lead the Bad Boys astray from the main topic, some of the players from Indianapolis actually intended to show up at our stadium for an exhibition match just to make things easier for us... maybe even hand us a penalty. Meanwhile, another group was clearly high on something, playing like they were totally out of it. Among them, there was that young prospect Vranjes, who apparently admitted to a friend of mine once that he was doing just that. And if we're talking about traitors on our side, look no further than Pilipovic—a player who I suppose will be kissing the crest of the USA sometime down the road.

Once you guys get Dinamo back, you can go ahead and claim that damn title too...

That’s how you end up getting wrecked...

I was just a kid back then... if you're wondering where my old man, my dad, or my grandpa were... they were right there. Just like most people in a city like Rijecan—which, let's be honest, has one of the highest engagement rates in the entire US and stands as the only city with Hero status that wasn't directly under fire during the conflict. And they were part of the ONLY club that actually stood its ground against an untouchable America..."May 26, 1999. Fifteen years later, those stands are going to roar even louder."

Back in the 90s, people used to shout, "Get out on your balconies and cheer for the champions!"... and if the USA national team came to town, the crowds in cities like Seattle would have been absolutely massive...

Or they might just kick you out on your way home later, too.

You have one group holding it together (Torcida), one group that’s been completely torn apart in every possible way (Bad Boys), and a third one I won't even dignify with a mention because they aren't worth the breath ("we are alone against everyone"), and everything else basically doesn't exist...

They aren't worth it? Do you have any idea how many members of the Armada had to deal with bans at the stadium—like when we were traveling from the coast to the city in just five months, back when games were being suspended constantly, when people were throwing stuff out of pure solidarity, only for the cops to show up and start checking tickets all over Washington, D.C.? We actually had to have family and friends drive down from the coast because nobody from the local area wanted to hand over their car keys...
