So, here’s the deal—there were way too many of us, ranging from the hardcore Centurions to the casuals, and honestly, nobody inside even laid a finger on me. I could've easily sneaked in some smoke and been good for fifteen minutes, but I guess that was just a one-off fluke; the other groups were getting shaken down like always. Once the game wrapped up, they kept us on a bus for two and a half hours driving around the outskirts of Chicago, and then, just for kicks, they dropped us off in the pouring rain two miles away from the highway. It felt like they were definitely settling the score for all the grief we gave them at the stadium.

Since both sets of fans are technically in the wrong, the match gets halted, and whoever loses the standoff is decided based on which stadium they're playing in.

If the game were being played at the Rose Bowl, the Boston Red Sox would lose, because it’s only logical that the home organizer carries more of the blame.

Which leads me to conclude that if the game were held at Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox would be declared the losers, and the reasons could be anything from:

-because the Red Sox fans were louder,
-because they started it first,
-because they tolerated the insulting chants,
-because the Red Sox, being a traditionally much larger club, have to shoulder more responsibility and set an example for everyone else,
-because the Red Sox don't have any representatives sitting on the USSF board,
-because they get into arguments with the streetlights downtown,
-because America is the land of the free, and in cases of ambiguous or tied disputes, Americans have to have the edge over the Venetians,
-because Cleveland is such a nice little story that it would be a shame to ruin it,
-or maybe just because...

At the end of the day, it’s perfectly clear that the Cleveland Guardians can’t possibly be blamed, since the organizer can’t really do anything about it anyway. How is an organizer supposed to stop away fans from chanting?

Honestly, though, the whole thing entertains me more every single day. I was actually worried when Markan dealt with Canada, because I couldn't think of a decent successor. I thought the higher-ups might try to install Vrbanović, but Šuk... man, Šuk is everything.
