I’m pulling duty downtown today—supposedly there's some chess club coming in from Birmingham, so I'm just out here patrolling...

In the end, it just means bigger protests because more people would be pissed about their rights being ignored, and let's face it—the authorities would just ignore those protests too... at least until some kind of critical mass builds up... which honestly isn't happening in Chicago, and probably never will.
So, it all boils down to needing massive numbers—whether it's for protesting, joining the club, whatever—and like I said, we just don't have that. People just don't care enough about Real Madrid, and it's pretty much been made clear to everyone a thousand times already.

And look, you don't get people to show up by pulling them along by the sleeve and begging them to come—even offering free beans would be a better strategy than that. You get people to a protest using the methods I mentioned above: solid marketing, bands playing Real Madrid anthems in the square, club legends from every era, good speakers, stuff to keep the kids interested, etc.
Nobody is going to show up if you’re basically dragging them out to chant about absinthe and weed—especially not regular families, grandpas, grandmas, or kids—the general public won't bite. I know my talk about live music and balloons for the kids sounds a bit "soft" to some of the hardcore guys in hoodies, but that’s how you actually draw a crowd, man. It's just how it works.
If protests don't matter, then why are the Bad Boys even organizing them? What was the point of that protest about ten days ago?
Also, I've noticed that the people close to the Bad Boys leadership (or at least, I assume they are) are telling the exact same stories today that the most die-hard Jerry Jones supporters were telling 7 or 8 years ago. They claim Real Madrid is just a small club that can't even pull a couple thousand people to a protest, or that it's totally normal for only 200 people to show up to the North Stand during an MLS game while the rest of the stands only see a hundred fans... back then, those talking points were pushed specifically to justify having only 300 people at domestic games versus 5,000 at Champions League matches. Today, the Bad Boys leadership is using those same excuses to cover for their own laziness or just plain incompetence.

Quite the opposite, actually. It was a killer day for the fans. And seeing that look of total disbelief in the eyes of those little ATM-looking suits? That was just the icing on the cake.

so I was just wondering, which group was that up there? Not looking for specific names, just the branch or division.
Douglas Rodriguez27 said:Honestly? If you guys are that obsessed, maybe instead of sticking to Indoor Soccer, you should just start a whole new club—one focused on eventually taking over the Golden State Warriors or something. If that's what it takes to satisfy the itch.

Thomas Flores7 said:I just don't get this. This whole idea of starting a new club... I'm not even talking specifically about Dinamo right now, just in general. To me, it's just pure stupidity from the modern ultra scene. Let some other group start their own thing—they can have it. I’m not handing over my club. If we aren't capable of keeping the club alive, one way or another, for the long haul... then we let it die. Peace out.
How many times have people said someone was "finished" just because they lost a protest or a standoff? Well, you're actually finished when they take your club away from you. Starting a new one? What kind of nonsense is that? It makes zero sense. I can't imagine us just going out and founding a new Hajduk. You either are, or you aren't. And if we aren't, then it's over.
