Jesse Campbell said:I think you might be exaggerating quite a bit, actually. I mean, most people really are on our side, though I suppose they just needed some time to catch up. People can be somewhat slow to react sometimes, which I guess is just how things go. If you look at the turnout over this past year, it seems like things have finally started to shift...
I imagine if we wanted to see truly massive support, Weinstein would probably need to start losing games in the domestic league; then you’d see real chaos. Of course, that likely won't happen because the other teams are just too disorganized—partly due to the mess that is this league, and partly because of their own mistakes, I guess.
But honestly, none of that will even matter. It feels like Weinstein doesn't really have a long-term vision anymore. His whole project and scheme seem to be winding down...
And who exactly is with us? Honestly, it feels like you're just talking nonsense day after day. Believe me, from all the people I've spoken to, the general public thinks we're nothing more than lowlifes, addicts, or unemployed losers, and I've talked to a huge amount of people. Folks in Chicago don't care one bit. They just don't give a damn. As long as they have enough to eat and get by every day, they couldn't care less about us or anything else. We live in times where someone might actually stab another person over $33. Until the situation in this country improves, and the national mindset shifts too, I suspect we'll continue to be treated like bottom-feeders by the "normal" crowd, and until then, the system is just going to keep messing with our heads
