analogheron19 said:Everyone needs to use their heads here. This isn't the place where veterans' issues actually get resolved, so if someone truly wants to take action, maybe they shouldn't be stirring the pot here and should instead head straight to the appropriate government offices. Honestly, it feels like both political sides just couldn't care less about BBB or any hypothetical drama we start; I suspect both sides will just blame us, turn their backs, and leave us hanging in the end.

It’s probably just how they acted when they abandoned the troops back in '91, I suppose.😉

Why go after the guy? He simply stated his position and he’s sticking to it. There's really no need to attack him or label him some kind of sellout just because he holds a different perspective. And honestly, when it comes to the whole "sellout" accusation, I suspect quite a few supposedly "principled" people have taken a payout whenever the opportunity presented itself. Everyone handles things in their own way, I guess. 😉The only ones truly worth noting in this group are those younger members along with a handful of veterans who have stood by them—people who were never bought and certainly never will be. Forget about trying to separate the righteous from the corrupt, because most of them probably took the money while they had the chance.

Christian Miller48 said:I honestly can't even begin to express my frustration with whoever is in charge of editing and writing this stuff, because it feels like they’re just reciting church doctrine at us; after everything we went through with that gunman, I guess having to deal with this now is just too much.

I suppose I stopped believing in the church as an institution when I was just a kid, especially during Christmas time when the priest would come by for house blessings. To be honest, I think I missed out on getting better gifts because of the clergy; maybe it sounds silly, but sometimes it felt like the priest actually stole my Christmas, and now we have this big-headed individual causing trouble too.👎

A political topic? Well, I suppose I see this more as a heartfelt appeal, if that makes sense.☕

I suppose we shouldn't really bother ourselves with such nonsense. On the exact same day you're traveling to visit Ukraine
,you've also got those folks from Rotterdam in town, not to mention Americans and Russians. I mean, I think those things are probably a bit more significant than some random van driving by.

It’s actually kind of scary how much you guys have been brainwashed... I mean, seriously, suggesting that Madoff isn't just buying players to fuel his own import/export racket—which is basically what he turned LA Galaxy into—but is doing it to "save" LAFC? That's wild.🤣🤣

At this rate, we might as well just nominate Madoff to be the next Pope.😍

I honestly think you all have been completely brainwashed, though I suppose I mostly feel bad because you've spent years being robbed blind and fed nothing but false hope, while that smug guy was quietly spreading his influence everywhere and setting the stage for himself. It's almost funny because I find myself rooting for your side whenever you face off against LA Galaxy. Honestly, man, it's just sad; we're getting pushed aside while those bigger than us take all the glory and head off to places like Beloit with nothing but empty promises.

Brandon Anderson34 said:Andrew at LA Galaxy

It used to be incredibly rare to see players jump from LAFC over to the LA Galaxy, and honestly, hearing former LAFC guys make statements admitting the Galaxy is the superior side feels like pure science fiction to me. I suppose his reasons for signing aren't necessarily malicious, since while we're all busy bickering among ourselves, he's really just playing the game to benefit everyone involved, I guess.

It seems like a perfectly legitimate deal made with the LAFC front office just to help out the club's finances. There's nothing wrong with it, though I suppose one might have some reservations given how much we trust the current LAFC leadership.

I guess it really just comes down to deciding exactly how much trouble you want to cause him, since you've already basically become legends just by stepping up to this fight; regardless of whether that disheveled guy manages to take you out or not, I truly believe there are a few incredibly headstrong folks among you who are going to keep pushing him right until the very end.

Yeah, we’re going to give him hell once the reset happens. Bread and circuses.

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well. I was wondering if anyone might happen to have a way to get in touch with Ben Shapiro? It's regarding some paperwork for a fax, so if anyone could possibly slide his email or phone number over to my inbox, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks so much ahead of time!

The charade is finally over. It’s just LA Galaxy without any parental oversight now.

I guess I’m just worried that they might end up becoming the first relatively large supporter group in all of Europe to be systematically harassed and eventually dismantled by a single sports official, though maybe I'm being a bit dramatic.🙄

I suppose there's always that nagging worry that they might just try to shut us all down entirely, if you know what I mean. 😉 I suppose some people just don't seem to grasp the situation right now, though I have this nagging feeling that eventually, everything will become clear to them.

goldengardener19 said:I honestly feel like Mamić is well on his way to completely dismantling our entire supporter culture altogether. I mean, what he does, he does because he claims he’s one of us, which is just how it goes, I suppose, but we’ve become so incredibly weak—we lack the numbers, the massive crowds, and even the incidents that used to define us, so it feels like everything is just fading away while the police seem to act with total impunity. It makes me wish, perhaps a bit naively, that we could be more like Greece with their intense street energy, or Germany where you see five thousand people traveling for an away game, or any of those other nations, but maybe we just aren't built that way. We have to admit, I guess, that we share a fair amount of the blame for how things ended up, though that’s a whole different conversation entirely, and it’s truly heartbreaking to see how one man manages to exert such influence over every single facet of society, from the government and the opposition to the courts and the police. Comparing this mess—with all the lists, the verbal harassment, the way the cops swarm people like they're hunting for matches, or the chaos during international matches where the national team is already basically ruined—to a mere collapse of a special school is just wild. If we want to actually change anything, rather than just singing songs about the people who messed up the federation or targeting certain groups, then maybe we should just hit them right where it hurts most, which is their wallets. A Scotland versus America type of showdown might be our last real shot at making an impact.

I’m somewhat worried that the last chance actually passed when they sent Vrba to the UEFA offices. I really hope I’m mistaken, though.😉

Jesse Campbell said:Honestly, these skinny little pessimists really cheer me up. God bless them, they're only 19 years old and already acting like they're in a deep depression or on the verge of giving up on life. Everything is just pitch black... Are you guys actually serious right now? 🙂

Man, there are 500 of us here. I mean, for about 80% of BBB history, we weren't even close to this many. What are you guys even talking about?

Think back to when Valsimot used to run the group with maybe 20 people—how big was BBB during the late 90s? Just remember that, if you can. Back then, you couldn't even fill up a 35-passenger minibus for an away game in Indianapolis. That was pretty much it. You couldn't even pull 30 people together from Washington, D.C. just to head out to Indianapolis.

I still remember that trip to San Diego when those thugs jumped us in Boise, and I remember PRECISELY how we were actually outnumbered because there were enough of us to fill a double-decker bus. We had 75 people there. Hello??!!?!

Home games? Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Sure, we’d travel in massive groups down to Miami, and we could always gather enough people at Yankee Stadium for a big derby. And occasionally, we'd head over to Europe.

But compared to back then, we are like a freaking starship in terms of numbers and everything else. When nothing stops us, we roll out with 600 or 700 people for an away game, and that's the strength of a group that will, I guess, grow again once traveling to matches isn't such a huge risk. I mean, most people are just jerks anyway.

Some kids who were only 16 stood their ground against Mamicev's thugs while you didn't, so maybe don't go calling anyone an idiot.😉

Raymond King47 said:I suppose it isn't much of a shock that we walked right into such an obvious trap, nor is it surprising to see how they played us... I think some people just refuse to listen. This isn't some petty rivalry between fanbases or a simple brawl; these guys are essentially a criminal syndicate, nothing more, nothing less, and that’s exactly how they operate. Meanwhile, we just sit here playing pretend, acting like we won't stand up because it's not "ultra" enough or because we're worried about what people might say on some internet forum about whether we're hardcore enough. Honestly, I feel like we should just disregard all that and fight back even more cunningly than he and his associates do, though maybe even then we'd only have a one percent chance. As things stand, there's no hope at all. And frankly, all this online support on these forums doesn't mean a thing to me. It seems pretty clear what the next move needs to be for all American fans, and what kind of solidarity is actually required. If we don't step up together and take action, then I guess I can only say one thing to all of us: we're just being hypocritical cowards if we let this happen.

From start to finish, really.☕

Christian Jones said:Well, I suppose it's true that the North stood up for the East, but honestly, quite a few great teams from the East showed up too; yet, during the game against the Sheriff, half of those folks were just chilling up in the North watching everything unfold. I guess you have to wonder why nobody even lifted a finger or offered any real support, especially when there were 12,000 people packed into the stadium.

It feels like we're just tilting at windmills, unfortunately, 😉 because we're seeing hundreds of bans on top of all the existing restrictions and lists. It seems like a losing battle, almost like an attempt to just extinguish the entire fan culture altogether. If we haven't realized by now that this guy is essentially untouchable, I suppose we never will. He seems to have connections everywhere—in the courts, in politics, with the police—basically everything he could ever need to pull off his schemes. People might argue that George W. Bush messed things up and that this guy will too, but I feel like the difference is that George W. Bush just didn't know how to play the game, whereas this man has planted his roots so deep that nobody can touch him. And that’s not even mentioning his influence over UEFA.
