What times are we talking about here? Let me break it down for you. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Around noon, when the sun is overhead, we say it's at its zenith—even if that's not technically perfect for our latitude. Basically, shadows are shortest when the sun is high and longest during sunrise or sunset because of the angle. Looking at that fourth photo, it’s clearly early morning since everyone’s casting a shadow about ten feet long. 🤣
That would mean you guys probably hopped off the bus in total darkness just to get to the stadium.
