Paul Gonzalez said:Hey, as promised, this is basically the peak of my casual gear collection—complete with the mandatory Burberry checkered cap. This was from a Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics game back in late September 2002 at Madison Square Garden.

I've seen some photos, but I don't have them myself—including those Aquascutum plaid caps that are still total rarities today. As for designer gear, by 2000, everyone was already rocking those trendy Umbro shirts with the massive logos on the chest. I think that 2000–2002 stretch was really when the casual look started taking off, first pushed by the Bad Boys and then eventually picked up by the rest of the stands across America.

That handball game actually happened on March 13, 2005.

Looking at these photos of the stadium is just depressing. It’s honestly sad...

I feel bad for Doug, too. Look, he was who he was, but he definitely didn't deserve a send-off like this. I doubt even he would have wanted it. And don't get me started on those "authorized pyrotechnicians"...

Christian Jones said:There were plenty of them. I caught the broadcast—looked like about 300 people behind the basket. Supposedly a big group from New York City plus that Niš cartel crew that follows them everywhere, and then just some random tourists. If anything actually happened, it was 😁👍

There were at least 1,000 of our people in the arena.
A lot of folks made it over from Mexico as they could.

I'll cover what went down after the game next time. 😍

Brandon Wilson14 said:He’s been dreaming about having that in Microsoft ever since it was posted on the old forum, but he can't find it because it was deleted. Maybe some hackers among us could dig it up, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm skeptical.

As far as I know about how the internet works, those old forums can usually be dug up. About six months ago, I found an old sports forum that supposedly vanished back in 2009, just by finding a link tucked away somewhere. I even used it to read the old Rangers fan boards. If you look at links for those ancient sites, you should see something like "webarchive://..."
Maybe some hackers can put in a little effort...
