And what if I told you—as the self-appointed President of the Global Commission for Evaluating Relevance and Significance—that in my humble opinion, The National hasn't done anything meaningful since "Alligator"?
😒

Honestly, this thread is pure chaos. It’s just a non-stop "rat race" where every commenter trashes the previous person's generic indie band just to pivot back to their own favorite cookie-cutter group
:
At the end of the day, for a middle-of-the-road festival aimed at a mainstream radio audience, this lineup is actually solid. Just because none of these acts interest me personally doesn't mean I should play God and claim nobody else will care, either...

Old stock CDs and vinyl—mostly hard & heavy stuff, including a full Iron Maiden run and some tacky knick-knacks: www.craigslist.org/user/KevinChavez3

If they showed up on their own, the entry would probably be something like $83.

As for me, I’m lucky enough that I don't care about any of this anymore.

Yeah, they’re completely crude. Probably because they play in some massive industrial plant out in the Rust Belt... as if you just stumbled upon some long-lost alternative band, man 🙄
...

I found both on a Discogs seller—the Bolero record is a steal, though that third-world stuff isn't exactly cheap... you might be able to talk them down on a bundle deal if you play your cards right http://www.discogs.com/artist/611912-Haustor

LP:
The Beatles... "Please Please Me"... an old Yugoslavian pressing from around 1980. Just one of those things that sticks in your head...

The Stranglers. No more heroes. VG/VG condition...

7":
Bob Dylan on 6th Street... absolutely legendary. It’s pure gold.
Wild strawberries... my old pal from the local cable provider...

CD:
Get ready for the injection! 50...
LCD SOUNDSYSTEM - LCD Soundsystem - 2CD - $30 (Disc 1 is heavily scratched; included a burned CD-R copy instead...)
The streets are still holding onto that raw, unpolished pirate energy... 50.
Volcano Suns pulling a stunt like that... absolutely ridiculous.

Still a mountain of work left to do... www.njuskalo.hr/korisnik/wrong

ha, well, look at that.

AND DOES ANYONE KNOW A WAY TO GET THE PULP FICTION SOUNDTRACK? I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR AGES, IT'S NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, AND THE ONES I ORDER FROM online shops just never show up...

What do you mean "the first part"... as far as I know, this is the only part.

Just buy the Pulp Fiction soundtrack online, for God's sake.

Nicholas Murphy5 said:Which The Velvet Underground record do you own?

Well, it just says "etc." in the description 😁
