My hatred would cloud my judgment too much. Just hit them hard and fast. Forget the talking; they outnumber us and they were armed. I'm certain we’d react the exact same way. Go ahead, criticize me.

There is zero doubt we’d beat them within an inch of their lives at a 4:1 ratio. Whether our guys would resort to knives is a different debate. Personally, I say they wouldn't. 😉

Carl Mitchell45 said:Those same fans were crying when those guys were killed by knives, and now they’re using those same tactics five times more often. There is nothing left to debate. Revenge will come eventually..when the time is right..

Hang in there, guys!

The most important thing is that when we strike back, we don't resort to their methods. That is the key. But they are going to feel the pain for this.

Aaron Ward6 said:Man, looking at this gives me chills... our guys are outnumbered, the enemy is heavily armed... I see a real fight breaking out here. It looks like they might have to pull back a bit, but our boys are holding their ground and fighting hard...
Maybe they took some hits down there... but that's just the mindset. They're even taking knife wounds...

Seriously, can we please stop with these fake stories about retreats, lines being drawn, or holding positions? Whoever brought that jargon into the conversation needs to cut it out.
The only thing that matters is that the guys who got stabbed survive without lasting damage. From what I'm hearing, some of them were getting jumped too.

Anyone who walked away did so because they were looking for trouble.
And they found it.
You spent years mocking the ultras, and now they've taught you a lesson you won't soon forget.
The reality is simple: you underestimated a much stronger, more disciplined group.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the injured!

The clubs aren't the issue; it's the knives. That's a level of intensity the Turk crowd will never grasp. You've already stabbed three Bad Boys in recent years, and you've even gone after people with axes.

Srdacan regards!

Supporting the youth academy while simultaneously opposing the senior squad is the height of hypocrisy. Let’s not embarrass ourselves with ideas or proposals like that.

Attendance at Yankee Stadium has been steady for years. I recall better times for both the group and the club, back when the crackdown was a joke and even the big rivalry games saw fewer than 10,000 fans... like that one game where Gondzic scored the winner in the 90th minute to make it 3-2. Don't sweat the derby numbers. They've been consistent for years in both New York and Miami. Focus on your own groups instead of worrying about the derby. 👍

nimblebison8 said:Soccer is a mess. Attendance at the derby is dropping, Yankee Stadium is empty, yet you guys are here on the forum arguing about brawls and who wins fights. 😵
If this keeps up for 20 years, the fan culture in America won't even exist. I'm talking about the organized crime elements and just the general supporter mentality.

Attendance at the derby is dropping? Where have you been living? In Miami, they had 20,000 people show up for the match, even with 26 points or whatever their deficit was. At the start of the season when they play down south, you get 35,000 people easily. As for New York? They’ve regularly pulled 10-15k for the last 15 years, with a few exceptions back in 2000, 2002, 2005, and 2006 when numbers were higher. That's basically it.
How can you claim attendance is declining? Numbers at the derbies have been standard for years. Nothing has changed. Honestly, we'd see even more people if there were a logical league format where teams played twice a year instead of this setup. Remember the format from ten years ago with the championship and relegation tiers plus the cup and supercup? There was a season where the top two rivals met seven times, not to mention those weird charity tournaments they used to run.

Joshua Moore31 said:Fact: these derbies get worse every single season. We’re basically playing at a Canadian level now.
Keep it going.

Please. Only people obsessed with manufactured myths would claim this is some "eternal rivalry." It's become an end in itself rather than an actual competitive grudge. Is there anything more pathetic for fans than having a rival that’s just laughable? The Bad Boys put on a great show in Miami and I’m done. I couldn't care less about those losers or how outsiders perceive this "derby." There is no real rivalry between us and them just so some spectator can say, "Wow, look at their matchup." This obsession with hype was imported from overseas. Honestly, I don't give a damn about the derby label; I just want to be better than our rivals in every possible way. That’s all that matters.

What kind of game is this? Looking at the fence, it reminds me of that first Real Madrid vs. Chicago match back in 2000. But I definitely don't remember Chicago wearing kits like these. It feels more like Indianapolis to me.

Gary Martinez80 said:We don't need all this fluff. We need the old-school way... face to face... and let it go down. Stop with the stones and all these props! If we're going to settle things in the streets, let's do it right—hand to hand, not throwing rocks. I only fear God and nothing else. If there's a fight, I'm in. But throwing stones and carrying gear? No thanks. Next time we have a "critical" away game, I’m bringing my helmet. Forget the props and the rocks!

First off, Tapatalk First-grasses is just slang for a fair fight. Whether it happens in a field, a park, or a city street doesn't really matter.

Second—look at reality. We have a pretty stunted scene with maybe two and a half decent groups, and that's it. Do you realize what a hundred bans mean for the function or the demon? It's the end of fan activity. Americans have a small scene facing some of the most repressive laws in the West, alongside places like Poland. It's wild that in 2014, we are even debating whether it's better to negotiate a fair fight or attack rivals in the city center with bottles. Use your heads. We are such a small scene that we don't have the numbers or the luxury to go wild in the cities. It is not the same when a group of 5,000 loses 100 people to bans versus a group of 200 losing 100.

And as for how much more honest and safer organized fights are for everyone, there's no need to waste breath. All you need is guts. You don't even need to train.

Eric Phillips52 said:We’ve been over this a hundred times already. We're just thugs and lowlifes who prefer drinking and drugs over actually training. Fine. Go ahead and wander off into the woods or whatever to organize your little MMA fan tournaments. Leave us street fighters to settle things with bats and call it a day.

Sure, sounds good. But when you end up banned or facing jail time, don't expect us country folk to donate a dime so you can go back to throwing bottles at people from twenty yards away in a month. Don't expect us to buy your merch or cry to the media about "fan freedom." 👍 No problem at all. Everyone gets exactly what they deserve. 👍

Bradley Sullivan4 said:We don't need more open space. We just need a little more common sense and actual intelligence...

Common sense equals open space. This ridiculous half-measure we have with two and a half ultra groups should have moved to a professional setup ages ago.

But I know what the real issue is... a total lack of backbone, guys!

So the games were scheduled for the following day to prevent any chaos. Brilliant logic.

Richard Rogers38 said:The news site is asking questions:

It’s because this schedule serves the interests of the football establishment exactly as intended!
They're targeting those who dared to show unity with rival fans last December.
They could have easily scheduled LA Galaxy to play an away game in Miami on Tuesday—just like Seattle Sounders FC and Indianapolis played yesterday—and had Liverpool FC play in Chicago on Wednesday or Thursday to keep everyone off the roads and avoid clashes.
Ask the Attorney General why they didn't. It's obvious who sets the schedule and what their endgame is. Naive fans are just waiting for a fight.

🙂

Already starting with the conspiracy theories and the blame games. Typical. 🙂 In fifteen minutes, someone will be posting about how Jerry Jones is never leaving because of this mess. I'm sick of the melodrama.

Just a heads-up: be careful about how much you're sharing with others in this group. If you think there aren't any eyes and ears watching us, you're mistaken. The fifth column is working overtime. Watch yourselves.
