If there is any truth to the idea that this whole thing was sparked by outside forces as part of a crackdown on corruption in professional sports, then we really need to look past just the Commissioner. That said, I have to agree with Chips that this is pure political theater. Even the Chief pointed out that if they had intended to actually report this quietly, they would have had him arrested at the border nearly a week ago.

Someone explained perfectly why we shouldn't worry about our kids today. Some of us are dealing with bans (myself included), while others are being forged in this chaos. When things finally return to normal, those "kids" will be leaving you all in the dust. I still remember the horrified looks back in December when there was a truce, and the Black and Gold faithful found it absolutely unbelievable that it took an hour or more just to get into the stadium. And that was only part of the "show." First the searches, then personal checks, then the tents, and then more searches if they didn't trust you.

Luckily, it's always the same 20 people posting on this forum, so it doesn't really matter anyway. For those who need to know, we know exactly who is behind the nicknames, and as for the rest of the "should-bes," just ignore them for your own sake.🙂
