Major props to Ivey for everything he's done, but honestly, I don't see myself hanging out by the Jordan River. I'm just not into the whole religious thing, and I've never been one for ecumenism or being a saintly type... but hey, there's a place for everyone. Good luck to him though, he was always a solid fan—maybe even a bit too classy for the hardcore supporter scene. It makes sense why he's moved on to this stage of life now...
Since the project for the new headquarters is such a massive leap forward for the Chicago Blackhawks fans—and we're talking about a huge commitment both financially and logistically—this is basically our collective rite of passage. It’s a heavy lift that we all have to carry TOGETHER, all to make sure the next generation of Chicago Blackhawks fans is ready to step up and follow in our footsteps.
We're looking at opening the doors by October 1st at the latest (once the renovations wrap up). Any kind of help during this build-out—whether it's cash, building materials, or professional advice—is hugely appreciated.
