Yeah... I see what you mean now..
I ran an example, and sure enough, it works exactly the way you described..
To be clear, I wasn't actually suggesting we reduce the total cell count of the Sheet itself..
I was thinking more along the lines of what you laid out in point 2..

So, if we're looking at the code for point 2, would it look something like this?
Code:
Public Sub DeleteRowOnCell()
Range("A2:A1000").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).EntireRow.Delete
End Sub
Thanks..
I can see this is a task for those who actually know their stuff.. and I respect that..
But.. my current budget doesn't really allow me to hire a professional developer..
Maybe my answer doesn't seem entirely sincere.. because I want to build.. something.. let's call it sophisticated.. but I'm just a hobbyist without a firm.. someone who had the idea to make this.. and maybe one day.. who knows.. a real company..

I did a little experimenting with the example..
HOW TO DELETE MULTIPLE ROWS (EMPTY CELLS) ALL AT ONCE

There are different ways to go about it.. and yes.. you might end up not deleting the row you actually wanted..
For instance.. you open the file and put any random character in cell C20
The macro command deletes only the rows within the table.. but it leaves everything below the table untouched..
Why is that?
Well.. the title of the tutorial is.. how to delete multiple rows (empty cells) all at once

I was tinkering with a Macro... but I uploaded a fresh file to the web instead..

The VLOOKUP function works fine... but... I don't deal with static data... so I'm not sure if that would be an organized approach..

I did exactly what you suggested... thanks... it's working now..
For the workflow I have in mind, I'm going to need quite a few modules..
Are there any limitations?

And honestly... I'm not interested in the invoices... just the logic... the code..
How to move specific cells from one sheet to a new sheet..
I noticed that might be a perfect example for what I'm trying to do..

Among other things... I want to build a little "mini-program"..
Something to help me with... generating quotes... for work
Lately, putting together a quote takes me way too long... since I'm doing all the math manually..
I haven't used Excel much... so I'm still finding my footing..
But... you helped me out so quickly with those "checkboxes"... so my ambitions have grown a bit..😉
If I were to add a worksheet containing all the selected items and their components...
That sheet would be for printing... like a pick list of selected materials...
That’s why I was looking into copying data into a new row..
It needs to be clear and quantitatively accurate... a "visual check" after clicking the SUBMIT button..

Anyway... here is the general logic..
1. A rough breakdown of elements... spread across several worksheets..
2. On each individual worksheet... create a separate table for each element... listing all its constituent parts..
3. Use "checkboxes" to select parts as needed..
4. Process the data in the tables as required... allowing for adjustments to quantities and measurements..
5. a) The resulting data gets copied to other tables that calculate price, quantity, etc..
5. b) The data also gets copied to a designated print sheet... the material list...

Some advice would be welcome..
And... is it possible to trigger the input... instead of using a SUBMIT button... maybe by typing a specific character into a cell?
Similar to how you handled the "checkbox"
I tried tweaking a section of this example
Specifically, copying data from one cell into a new row
but I couldn't quite get it to work...
Is it possible to set it up so that when you click "ENTER 2," Company B—along with its specific data—shows up on the log list?
Also... could we have a dedicated cell that tracks the count of how many times "ENTER 1" and "ENTER 2" have been clicked?

I'm absolutely buried in work right now...
It's fine... no offense taken at all... I don't even know why you'd think that... you're right, though...
I get it—examples make finding a solution so much easier. You were quick to help...
Just rushing... pure chaos...
Don't feel bad about it either...

Thanks for the link... I think that's exactly what I needed...

I'll find a way to pay you back... maybe just by clicking on every ad I see...
You hit the nail on the head regarding the issue... though it isn't really an issue anymore. 🙂
It can work without the checkbox... I'm happy with this solution. Thanks a million.
Right now, I just don't have the bandwidth to sit down and master Excel.
The software is incredibly powerful, though...

I have one more question for you... it goes something like this:

How do I move a specific number of entire rows from Sheet1
or just a set number of cells within a chosen row over to List2?
(I’d select those rows by marking them with an "X"... similar to how we did it before.
For example, I'd pick rows 8, 10, 16, 18, etc.)

I need them to be printed one after another in List2.

I'm using List2 to print my selection on standard US Letter paper,
so they need to be stacked vertically.
Here’s an example...

This is how I've pictured it working...
My goal is that by selecting...TRUE...via checkboxes...in cells...D10 and D11
the checkboxes in these specific cells will automatically check themselves...
I10, N10, S10, X10, AC10
as well as
I11, N11, S11, X11, AC11

The key part is that the values...must be confirmed...and SUM should increase by the specific value assigned to each cell...

If anyone has a different approach... please share it... ideally with an example...
All I need is for selecting TRUE...in cells...D10 and D11..
to trigger all five data points...moving from ZERO..to a set value...and ensure the final SUM increases..

Or is there a different way to pull this off?
I'm looking to have one single checkbox trigger five different cells... each filled with its own unique data...
It’s been a long time since I’ve really dug into Excel... and honestly, whatever little knowledge I had back then has pretty much evaporated.
Now I'm trying to build a little mini-program within Excel, and I have a question for the experts here.
I hope I can explain this clearly enough.

1. I have an "object" that is split into three sections... basically three small tables.
2. From those tables, I pull five different pieces of data—three area measurements and two length measurements.
3. To select each specific piece of data, I use a separate checkbox.
That means if I want to use all five data points, I have to click five times just for one single object.
And I have quite a few of these objects.

I’d like to be able to toggle all five of those data points with a single selection.
In other words, could one click on a single checkbox automatically check the previous five checkboxes?
Is that actually possible to pull off? And if so, how would I go about it?
