I picked up an Xbox One over in Germany recently, and now that I've got it set up here in the States, it just won't budge... I can't get it to boot up at all—it's being incredibly stubborn. Any idea what the catch might be?
So, I’ve got this motherboard running on DDR2 memory—it’s an older setup, sure—but I was wondering if there's any way to swap in some DDR3 sticks, or am I looking at a situation where I'll definitely need to pick up a whole new motherboard to make that happen?
So, I’ve got this motherboard with two memory slots—up until now, I’ve only ever been using one of them. I decided to pick up some extra RAM to beef things up, so I popped the second stick into the other slot, but... nothing. Absolutely zero response. At first, I was convinced I’d just bought a dud or incompatible sticks, but that doesn't seem to be the case. See, when I use the first slot, both sticks work perfectly fine—no issues there—but the moment I try to utilize that second slot, neither of them will register. It's like that part of the board is just dead to the world. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
I was at my niece's First Communion a few days ago, and honestly, the gifts weren't even the issue. We gave $33, which was fine, but the real headache—the part that actually caused tension—was that I wasn't filming the Mass because of my camera. People can be so unreasonable; you can't even explain to them that your gear just isn't working properly
