GPU Buying Guide - (Read first post) in Desktops ·
I've already got liquid cooling, but I don't need help with the CPU—I'm looking for a GPU, like I mentioned before...
7770 6850 7850 hd radeon
nvidia 550 ti 560 ti
Out of those specific options, which one would be the best for video editing and gaming? It has to be one from this list!

This is a bit off-topic, but what motherboard are you running and do you have liquid cooling?
It would have been way easier for you to just grab an i7...

I've got a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P motherboard paired with an NZXT Kraken X53

Hey everyone!
Just like the title says, I'm on the hunt for a GPU that can handle both video editing and some gaming.
My last card finally gave up the ghost on me this past Friday...
So, I've been crunching the numbers and looking at my budget, and these are the options currently on my radar:
Either one of the Radeon 7770 6850 7850 cards, or
one of the Nvidia 550 ti or 560 ti models...

I'm fully aware that none of these five choices are exactly top-tier, but I have to work with what I've got.
Basically, I need something reliable for gaming and video editing in Sony Vegas.
Out of this specific list, which one would you recommend as the best pick? Thanks a million in advance!
Bruised finger from too much pressure in Health ·
Don't get me wrong, this is just how I roll... Back in 2012, I actually broke my leg and didn't even bother heading to the ER until ten hours later... Anyway, thanks so much for the info! 🙂
Bruised finger from too much pressure in Health ·
So, I ran into a bit of a situation today. I was helping my mom in the kitchen grinding meat, things got a little messy, and I ended up catching my finger under some heavy pressure. My nail turned blue instantly, and I’ve got this nasty bruise forming on the other side too... plus, the screw on the machine actually split the skin. Since I can still move my finger, I don't think I need an ER visit, but man, it hurts like crazy whenever I touch it! Does anyone know a good way to dull the pain or get this bruise to clear up faster? I had something similar happen to a toenail once after a hit, and that bruise stuck around for months before finally fading away...
I would really appreciate any tips or advice you guys have! 🙂
