They told him he could choose whether or not to have surgery, essentially leaving the decision entirely up to him (😕). It turns out it might be benign, though nobody has actually given him a definitive diagnosis yet (since he hadn't even had the specific tests required to confirm anything such as that).
So now, he's sitting in the hospital. They ran blood work, urine tests, and yesterday they did a mammogram, an ultrasound, and a biopsy.... and the doctors? They aren't saying a single word.... They won't tell him if things look good or bad, or even if a specific result points toward one thing or another...🤷
As for gynecomastia, that’s not what this is; he doesn't have enlarged breasts, just this one specific lump....
They rushed him straight into the hospital and told him surgery was necessary before they even ran a single diagnostic test. I found that pretty strange myself, because I know doctors can usually tell what they're looking at fairly quickly... 🤷
The mammogram and ultrasound results haven't actually come back yet, but they told him today he needs to head back in for another ultrasound...🤷

We, on the other hand, aren't feeling particularly optimistic. We're bracing for the worst, especially since everything feels so secretive and nobody seems willing to give us a straight answer (everyone just hedges and claims they don't know anything until after the surgery is done 😕)....
They started him on IV fluids yesterday (he’s actually been in the hospital since Monday), but he hasn't received the test results back yet. He’s scheduled for surgery tomorrow.
I suppose I bite my nails because they don't tell me anything at all, so I honestly can't even be sure if there are malignant cells present or not... 🤷

Oh, please, you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. I’d love to see how you’d handle it if you had to shower every single client you land for your firm with expensive gifts, only to have your boss tell you—hey, pay for that out of your own pocket! 🤣 For journalists, this is just part of the job. It’s a different story when everyone nowadays thinks they can call themselves a reporter or a music critic just because they have an internet connection.
If you don't like it, stop buying newspapers and just read stuff online... 😁 🙂
By the way, calling this "advertising" is a stretch; it belongs in the news section. Sure, it functions as an ad, but it’s also information and an announcement for an event... and isn't that exactly what the media is supposed to do? 😉

I was under the impression we were talking about people who actually follow the scene 🤷...of course you aren't going to accredit a reporter from the religious desk just because they happen to listen to Public Enemy and want a free pass.
I always try to be professional with organizers; if I don't plan on attending, I'll politely decline the accreditation. 🙂

Look, you have to understand that organizers are incredibly protective about where their news breaks... and they definitely hold a grudge if you’ve stepped on their toes in the past... it's just like how journalists remember exactly who's trying to bury them... I've been working in the media industry for twelve years now, and this is honestly the first time I've ever heard of someone being denied accreditation... but I suppose it's pretty obvious that the big national networks, major daily papers, and mainstream TV stations get priority... I mean, I get why a reporter from some tiny local outlet in a small town might get passed over, but a journalist from a major publication like the New York Times who actually covers the scene? They aren't going to be left out...🤷
Maybe I'm just being cynical, though. These are just my own observations...🙂

I totally agree with your take on the future of the Republican Party, but I never claimed they actually accomplished anything or that they're any good for America. I'm just saying they aren't a true right-wing party, just like the Democratic Party isn't a true left-wing one.
And yeah, I am actually dying to see a link to the verdict against Vuca, to see if they actually proved anything or if they just took her word for it. It's not like I'm defending Vuca, because he looks like the type of guy who'd hit a woman, unlike someone like Nobilo, who doesn't look like he'd ever lay a hand on a woman.
That’s exactly the kind of thinking that can be misleading... appearances don't really matter when it comes to what a person actually does. And from what I understand, Vuca already has a few police reports against him, so they probably just took her word for it. 😍Though, I suppose that isn't right either.
