I guess that's fine with me, though. At least you're being authentic, unlike so many other people out there. I'm probably not much better myself. 🕺

And that breakdown looks like this: right now, I'm functional—I handle my life, my job, my kid, my family, I put in the overtime if the job needs it... but the moment I start poking at my emotions, or a bad memory, or even just thinking about them for a second, I turn into a completely different person. I literally crumble. I can't get out of bed, I can't work, I can't take care of my child, my focus goes to zero, I feel empty and drained of any energy, and then the nightmares, the anxiety, and the pure dread kick in... At 38, with everything going on in my life—especially now with my little one needing me, and after losing my dad without even fully processing it, and with my marriage hitting serious rough patches—I simply cannot allow myself to break down. I can't just say, "whatever, let the emotions and the traumas I've suppressed for 30 years wash over me" and hope the flood clears everything out... I'd probably end up on heavy meds and stuck in a psych ward... Right now, I’m basically just operating like a robot—zero emotion, either that or I just completely fall apart. My emotional tank is totally empty... I’m trying so hard not to feel anything at all, which means I’m burying even the good stuff deep down, not just the bad... The only thing keeping me going is my own brain, honestly. Being smart enough to recognize when things are going south helps, and then I use whatever techniques I can find to chill out and channel the anxiety—it's basically just firefighting at this point...
I know deep down that one day I’m gonna snap like a dry twig and never quite pull myself back together. But what am I supposed to do? Lose my job? Spend years on heavy-duty antidepressants just trying to piece together all these different versions of myself while my kid watches me struggle like this? No way... I just can't...
I deal with the exact same thing quite often. I find that I can only truly function once I've pushed my emotions aside. The problem is that I’m completely blind to my own mess. It’s not like gaining some sort of clarity or self-awareness is going to provide me any relief—it certainly won't fix this constant state of anxiety. 😁).
When it comes to individuality, I make it a point to view every single person as a unique entity. Because of that, I grant that right to everyone—including myself. 🤣🤣)

People kept insisting that I should post pictures—and mind you, I was talking about my outfits.😁They went over to the MK thread and started digging up my old posts from completely different discussions just to drop links there, simply because they didn't have any actual arguments to counter mine. I wasn't being "wicked" enough, apparently—it felt like they were just looking for an excuse to bury me.😬
So, I was feeling pretty bold, so I decided to drop the link to that thread where I actually won the cooking competition.☕ Of course, nobody saw that coming. They had absolutely no clue they were dealing with a female Gordon Ramsay.☕
It’s not that you were actually unwanted; it’s just that they love nothing more than picking on the new kids to make themselves feel important. Posting on MK is a massive plus. 🙂 At least, I don't think anyone finds it particularly bothersome.
brightpuma said:It’s not all bad that she's on most members' ignore lists in that chat. At least here she found someone to actually talk to, unlike that chat where everyone just shuts her out.
I don't have a problem with being ignored, especially when it's spontaneous. But I can see you're following 😬
Bullying is happening in that chat, and there is absolutely no excuse for it.
In this current thread, I've actually posted 54 times more than Daniel Gomez10 (162 posts compared to his 3).
You clearly aren't up to speed here.😁
Daniel Gomez10 has been a regular in this thread for years; he's just taking a break from posting for a while.
Chloe Cooper10 said:If Hannah keeps doing things her own way, Steve could just open his own sawmill with a massive selection of high-quality lumber for processing and reuse. 🤣
Why shouldn't Hannah just speak her mind?
"Sawing" or "woodworking" aren't really the right verbs to use here, regardless of the actual subject matter. 😁
We don't know each other personally, and I have no intention of getting sidetracked from the topic at hand.😁
It isn’t just about simply failing to communicate with someone; it’s a deliberate, coordinated effort to shut them out, at least from what I can see.
Regarding the whole business with profile pictures: you can't just dictate to people that they have to upload an image or stay silent in the thread. Using ultimatums like that isn't how decent, civilized communication works.
There is a palpable intolerance toward anyone who is perceived as different here, and certain individuals never miss a chance to make that obvious. The goal is clearly to hurt the person and "force" them to leave the chat by making them feel unwelcome.
When it comes to these low blows against those deemed undesirable, Jack Ward82 is leading the charge, though he's being followed pretty closely by the rest of the group.
Earlier today, I started a thread over on the FBI forums titled Card, which consisted of just one single message:
Thanks for all the downvotes on a post about a topic I’m actually trying to discuss. I intended to go back and edit out the first sentence of that second paragraph, but I was rushing out the door and the change didn't save.
And here is one specific comment:
I’m genuinely curious why this next post got a Card:
Flying said:You know what strikes me as odd? The way everyone plays the victim here—they focus on the parent who had a child forced upon them, rather than the parent who had their fundamental rights to paternity stripped away.
But hey, now that you've enlightened us that money is the driving motive, everything clicks into place. We aren't talking about family law anymore; we're talking about white-collar crime. The person being forced to fund someone else's biological child is essentially being robbed, and as for the other party... well, they've already won the lottery. 🤣
The whole thread has been deleted. Why?
I am seriously asking: what exactly was controversial about the quoted post?
Then there's this comment: sweeping everything "uncomfortable" under the rug by simply deleting it is certainly a fascinating moderation tactic.😁
casualcanyon3 said:Here is a brief catalog of instances where you have behaved in ways you claim don't qualify as harassment—ranging from your most recent outbursts to older ones over the last couple of months, spanning several different discussions:
- Advising the thread starter to simply ignore a specific user whom you are actively targeting. - Poking at a user by questioning if she uses dating apps just to find "humor," while simultaneously dropping insinuations on that very same site that she isn't trustworthy. - Mocking her posts and implying that she is lying about herself. - Telling the OP that she "lacks both knowledge and experience" and suggesting he disregard her entirely, followed by claims that you only comment because her "posts are pathetic," alongside various other petty arguments and attempts to discredit her.
I’ve pulled these from your last five warnings (I won't list the final one since it's already been cited here). These specific incidents were preceded by a long string of similar behavior. Your posts directed at this user are derogatory, insulting, and provocative. They have absolutely nothing to do with the actual topics being discussed. At no point was she the one to initiate contact with you; rather, you are constantly quoting her or others specifically to tear her down. It isn't just about her content, despite what you falsely claim here—you are attacking her as a person in a purely malicious fashion. Your conduct hasn't gone unnoticed; other users on the platform have seen it and commented on it across various threads.
Let me be clear: everything described above is the definition of harassment. I strongly suggest you review section 13 of our Terms of Service. Honestly, you might want to pay attention to the very last rule as well—playing dumb isn't permitted here either.
As for your question regarding what kind of comments are permissible versus what isn't—aside from my repeated recommendation that you re-read the rules for both the main forum and the Reddit archives—I will say this: acceptable commentary must remain relevant to the topic at hand. If you intend to disagree with the original poster or anyone else, you are expected to present constructive arguments that maintain a coherent discussion within the thread. That means no insults, no off-topic rambling, no trolling, no provocation, no disparagement, and no personal vendettas against other members.
One final note: given your track record, I will be watching your future interactions with this user very closely. Should any behavior similar to the examples listed above recur, I will fully support a move toward a permanent ban from Reddit.
I second everything 🙂
No interpretations needed 😁
Based on what you've laid out, I completely disagree with your perspective.
You're twisting definitions, your delivery is frankly unacceptable—it's pretentious in its attempt to paint my behavior as the problem—and it's incredibly one-sided. (Unfortunately, I didn't include Alain's "accounting" of our arguments to show who was actually crossing the line or being more aggressive in those fights, let alone looking at her posts in general), so I'm not going to bother addressing the rest of your post.
You still haven't actually answered my question about what kind of comments are allowed here and which ones aren't. (which is exactly why I decided to start this thread 🙂 )
Look up the definition of "harassment" before you dare repeat that statement.
Sophia Thomas7 said:What I actually quoted—the part that got you a warning from Hazen—wasn't me "jumping in." It was me making fun of her. She needs to stop playing dumb for the tenth time today.
"Jumping in" is a perfectly valid American English expression; you can go check it on Merriam-Webster.
to jump in to jump in (verb) [to intervene or join a conversation suddenly]
And for the millionth time, please stop with the mental gymnastics claiming "the moderators are just being biased because they don't understand her." It’s pretty obvious from your post history that you've been picking on her over at Lowe's for ages.
And frankly, I haven't been given any clear definition of what constitutes an acceptable comment versus one that isn't.
So, what's the rule here—is silence the only thing actually permitted? 😬
I’ve already pointed out that I tend to "jump on" certain posts. It’s hardly a coincidence that these often involve threads started by the same user. However, this isn't harassment. To an uninformed observer, it might look that way—that’s just my take, not a definitive fact—but if you actually look up the definition of harassment, you'll see it doesn't apply here. It feels like this user is trying to shut me down from commenting on her posts, and I fear the moderators, perhaps out of ignorance, are inadvertently helping her achieve that goal.
Whose terminology is this "jumping on" anyway?
I promise to exercise restraint (which I am already doing), but please stop flagging every single one of my replies directed at her. Either define exactly what constitutes a permissible comment versus an unacceptable one.
I’m asking the moderators to provide a clear definition of what actually constitutes "harassment." It’s completely unreasonable to throw around terms you don't even seem to understand and then hand out penalties based on them.
Honestly, if someone tells me I'm acting crazy, I wouldn't even take it as an insult. We're just talking about casual slang here, not some clinical diagnosis.
I honestly have no clue why my posts keep getting deleted. I don't see any issues when I review my own content, and it’s even more confusing when I compare my posts to everything else on the board.
It’s pretty hard for mods to earn any real respect when they operate this way.
Could someone please explain why my post #65 (which has been replaced by something else) was deleted from the Zapatista Army of National Liberation PDF? It was under the thread "Should you stay in or end an affair?" and read: "No. People have learned how to act civilized, and if they start acting like pigs, I'm out." My vocabulary might be a bit blunt, but I wasn't insulting anyone personally; I was simply expressing my disagreement with the behavior being discussed in the topic.

I assume that just isn't a profitable model. If it were, you'd see massive developments in China built entirely around play centers.
Play centers survive on birthday party bookings, and they constantly smell like old juice boxes. Childcare simply isn't a lucrative business. 😁
