Charles Gonzalez19 said:Daniel Chase13 just proved your point with those nonstop ad hominem attacks. It’s like he’s doubling down on exactly what you said—that he doesn't actually know the first thing about this topic, and honestly, it doesn't even look like he tried to learn.

A textbook example of pathological trolls.

Daniel Chase13 keeps whining about how people are constantly bickering in the comments on his own channel.

And honestly, most of those personal attacks are coming from the resident forum atheists anyway.

Charles Gonzalez19 said:So, you aren't actually familiar with the topic, nor do you get why most people see Elvis Presley as such a polarizing figure, yet you're already dismissing any criticism of him as just being "ad hominem"? And you're throwing shade at atheists on top of that?

If you want to get up to speed, check him out here:

Was that list below what you meant by "disgusting ad hominem attacks"? The author identifies as Catholic, at least. It’s entirely up to you if you want to generalize based on that.

Daniel Chase13 was just backing up what I've been saying about this whole situation for a while now.

It’s just pathetic, really, the way people are mocking him.

I mean, he can be whoever he wants to be, but this kind of mockery is just straight-up disgusting.

I haven't watched a single second of this guy's videos, and honestly, I don't even know who he is, but the constant, disgusting ad hominem attacks from the resident atheists on this forum—well, they certainly didn't disappoint.

[/I]

Nah. But with the kind of mental gymnastics you're pulling here, are you scared of accidentally praying your way into a church?

northernscout9 said:Oh, please. You’re telling me you’re against it? Seriously? Like, if you were actually with a woman and she wanted to go there, you’d really just sit there and say, "Nah, I'm good"?

Yeah, I probably would.

Look, we just have different ideas about what sex is supposed to be, and honestly, who cares? We aren't all clones.

I mean, some people think it's totally fine to watch porn with their wife...

To each their own, right?😉

To some people, a father and son engaging in sexual acts is just business as usual. To others, a guy having eight different women is perfectly fine. Some folks even think anal sex is totally normal...

Look, everyone should be free to live their life and believe whatever they want, right?

But as someone who actually believes in God and lives by Christian values, I figured I’d have the right to hold my own opinion on all this...

northernscout9 said:I actually think it’s the exact opposite. Look at the prison population here in the USA—most of those inmates are religious, even though by definition they’re people who chose to live in sin, you know, stealing, killing, all that stuff. Or take organized crime groups, like the Russian mob having Jesus's crosses tattooed on them, or the Italian Mafia with their ties to Vatican City and laundering cash through Vatican banks (anyway, have you ever actually seen the movie "The Godfather"?); or even Mussolini, who basically worked with the Church and insisted on religious education in schools while being a total moral wreck himself.

Plus, honestly, people are walking away from religion because they don't want to spend their lives hating others (like the LGBTQ+ community), they're tired of carrying around guilt for things they didn't even do (like the whole "eating fruit from the wrong tree" thing), they don't want to waste their Sundays sitting in a pew listening to depressing sermons, and they definitely don't want to be xenophobic. Basically, they just want to be free and happy.

I guess I never realized "The Godfather" was a documentary...

The Church doesn't condemn gay people; you see plenty of them in church here in the US.
The Church and the Bible condemn gay sexual sin as deviant.

Honestly, I can't wrap my head around how people fall for this kind of mindless garbage. Like, seriously, if someone actually sat there thinking this was a movie meant for actual enjoyment, I’d have to wonder what's going on in their head.
