As for them—I’m hardly optimistic that Charles Leclerc will even see a podium finish today.😢

Mediums.

Sebastian Vettel is basically providing a masterclass in how to completely fall off as a driver.

I guess I’ll just take it out on the refs—honestly, they're driving me crazy. 😠

Carlos Sainz probably should have been penalized for that—you can't just shove people off the track like they're driving for Haas, I guess.

Matthew Murphy91 said:Red Bull seems to be struggling—it was a bit of a disaster out there. McLaren looked visibly faster today, honestly. It looks like Honda might not be the silver bullet they all promised it would be, I guess.

The development cycle for the car takes about sixteen months—I suppose. Red Bull is still essentially tailored around that Renault engine, and I imagine it’ll stay that way for a while until they fully integrate the Honda setup. Honda seems to have the power side figured out, though whether they can actually nail the reliability... well, we'll see.

I'm not entirely sure if the "new regulations" actually tightened the gap across the grid—excluding Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, and Williams, of course—or if there are just too many loudmouths like Pierre Gasly in the other cars. Honestly, Racing Point is surprising me with how underwhelming they are.

trash driver—the second someone shows they're faster, he just crashes into them

A perfectly valid and spotless defense. I suppose Carlos Sainz is actually at fault here because he pushed Max Verstappen—didn't leave him quite enough room, I guess.

Like I said, Charles probably won't make the podium 🤕

But Lando Norris! 🙏
It looks like McLaren is back in the mix again 🙏
At this rate, Renault is basically just acting as their own B team 😬

Charles Leclerc looks significantly faster—now we just wait to see how Ferrari manages to mess it up for him again 🙄

It looks like Bottas is back to his old ways—making mistakes again🤦

Williams Racing isn't exactly bottom-of-the-barrel anymore, I suppose😲

McLaren Racing seems pretty formidable🙏

Edit: Well, just as I typed that, Carlos Sainz Jr. pulled away😢

That’s how you execute team orders—bravo to Ford. I’m being completely serious here. It was a solid move since Charles Leclerc had the cleaner, faster line while Sebastian Vettel didn't. At this rate, it's pretty obvious Charles isn't even looking at a podium finish.

Looks like there's some smoke coming from the Nickname's engine 🤷

Who exactly thinks their race pace is good? Both Christian Horner and Max Verstappen have mentioned—both previously and again today—that their expectations are pretty low. They’d probably be happy just staying near the podium in Los Angeles, given how many things aren't clicking right now 🤷 As for Pierre Gasly, he’s only looking at a top 10 finish if half the field DNFs, much like what we saw today 🙄

briskhound76 said:Well, Sanzu also got sacked 😁

True, though he wasn't scoring points anyway—plus, after that collision with Max Verstappen, he had enough other issues that I'd rather not go there. Lando Norris put in a magnificent drive, especially considering it was only his second one 🙏

It might be worth revisiting Sebastian Vettel's masterclass from earlier today:

Jerry Moore61 said:I guess Max Verstappen spun out during the cool-down lap—some guy caught the curb, maybe.

Unlike Sebastian Vettel—who seems to spend almost every other race spinning out, including today—it’s a different story altogether.

briskhound76 said:The engine gave out on all three at once—I guess that’s just how it goes. 😲

No comment on General Motors—I guess. 🤦 They were a huge disappointment to me—but I suppose it’s only the second race. At least the engine in the McLaren seems to be performing well. 👍

darkmarlin16 said:Well, it isn't exactly a DNF today—he's just running about two laps down, I guess. 🍿

Well, technically that’s how things will play out—but since he didn't even finish the race, the whole situation is starting to feel a bit comical, I guess. 😬

darkmarlin16 said:Lewis acted like a total gentleman—I guess.

Well, I guess Lewis has always been that way. 🙂

Good grief... 😵 Is there any chance Ricciardo manages a 100% DNF rate this season? 🤔

Did they actually explain what happened with them? Though I suppose it’s probably best left unsaid 🤣

Lando and McLaren 🙏

Great race. Mercedes sweeping the podium—what a result. I feel for Charles 😢--though at least the SC didn't drop him to 5th place. To look on the bright side, he secured his first career podium after driving a flawless race 😢. It seems Lewis is slowly becoming a specialist in these kinds of undeserved wins 🕺

I'm not even a Ferrari fan. Charles is a nice guy—I actually feel for him.
Maybe once you grow up, you'll stop with the constant bashing.
Until then, just chill out.

Where exactly am I bashing Charles? Find ONE single post where I’ve said anything against him or dragged him through the mud. Since you won't be able to find one (because they don't exist), I might suggest learning how to read—and maybe stop being so paranoid about seeing things that aren't there.

The only thing I've been worried about since the start of the race is Ferrari somehow screwing him over—whether it's strategy, a pit stop, or whatever this current mess is—and you're interpreting that as me attacking him. It's a disaster, really. 👎 Forgive me, if you can, for having zero faith in Ferrari, given they've mostly just shown their worst side so far.

It’s over—he's dropping five seconds a lap now. Looks like P5 is the best he'll get.
