Richard Walker38 said:Bottas seems to be reaching his limit—I'm honestly just waiting for an outburst. He’s clearly frustrated 🤣 and has become rather aggressive toward the others on track, which isn't exactly his usual style

Richard Walker38 said:I don't know, I get the impression that Bottas isn't exactly comfortable playing second fiddle. It's not even a new thing, really—he's been acting strange, and everyone can see it. We'll probably know more next season.

If he originally agreed to the role, it feels like something has shifted since then.

It's pretty obvious lately that he's struggling with being the obedient #2. Every interview he gives feels somewhat on edge (I'm half-expecting him to actually snap at someone asking a sensitive question 😁); plus, he's started driving quite aggressively, almost taking out Vandoorne—refusing to brake and just slamming into the Williams... 🤔

A breakdown seems inevitable unless they let him win at least once—it's just a matter of whether that happens soon or toward the end of the season.🤣🤣
True, though I suppose that applies to everyone except maybe Williams—between Sirotkin and the way he keeps putting Stroll through the ringer... 🤷 Kimi is the outlier, really; he just doesn't seem to care about any of it. He collects his paycheck and goes about his business. Meanwhile, with someone like Bottas, I feel like I'm just waiting for the inevitable meltdown. 😬 If Hamilton had already locked up the title, Bottas probably would have been cruising to wins through the end of the season, but under these circumstances, I guess they'll both have to wait until 2019.
Regarding Kimi, I’d definitely suggest checking out Ferrari Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen | Grill the Grid: Truth or Lie?. The guy is just a legend 🙏 😬—and I suppose Seb is pretty great too 👍

He had quite a slide through The Parabolic Turn, too 😁

Just the other day, Kimi went wide on a virtual hot lap, too 🙂

The track is basically a swimming pool—it’s starting to rain again, I guess.

Ricciardo is running into more "unforeseen" issues—just half a lap in. 🤣 🤣 Looks like an engine failure.

So, Horner—speaking with Natalie Pinkha—pretty much admitted that Max is the top priority, while Ricciardo (whom he referred to as a "Renault representative") is just the test subject.
Gary Palmer8 said:Everyone’s acting like a general after the battle—typical. I guess it was already pretty obvious before the break that Mercedes was struggling, though they did get lucky when Vettel managed to pull off that win in the rain. I was hoping they might actually figure out how to catch up to Ferrari, but watching that performance at Spa was just... well, it was sad.

It’s probably a long way from being a victory lap after that battle—if you can even call it that, I guess. I guess I called it before Spa—maybe just a lucky guess. I guess Daniel Ricciardo shut me down regarding Kimi Räikkönen—though I still maintain he would have secured a podium spot right behind Lewis Hamilton. Aside from Spain and that strange period where Mercedes seemed untouchable, which was only made more obvious by the usual chaos in the Ferrari pit lane, the Scuderia actually held a half-step advantage in terms of raw pace. They don't exactly have a vastly superior car, but they have just enough of an edge to almost offset their own sloppy strategy calls.

Richard Walker38 said:Kimi will probably mess things up again—I guess.

It doesn't even finish? I find that hard to believe—I guess. 🤷 He’s been hitting the podium almost every single race lately—showing some serious consistency—so I guess it's just my luck that he manages to drop out twice in a row... 🤷
Anything other than another Ferrari masterclass—with them taking 1st Place and 2nd Place—would probably be a shock. I guess we'll see if Lewis Hamilton 3rd Place and Valtteri Bottas 4th Place holds up.

Take a look at your own posts in this thread before you come at me. ☕ I’m sticking to my guns regarding what was quoted—mostly because nobody in this thread actually reads what's written; they just see what they want to see. It's honestly peak behavior when people start putting words in my mouth that I never even said—all because some folks here lack basic automotive knowledge and can't connect dots that would be obvious to anyone who knows how to use Google. What else am I supposed to say to that?

Austin Rodriguez5, we’ve had our fair share of disagreements in this thread, but I have to say—I really value your objectivity here:

Austin Rodriguez5 said:The people against Musk are attacking him quite tactlessly, while the supporters just end up trolling them—it just goes on forever.

I’ve completely stepped away from this thread because it’s turned into a total dumpster fire. Honestly, some of the people posting there act like they aren't even the same individuals participating in other discussions. Nobody actually reads anything; it’s just endless trolling and people being incredibly immature toward one another. It’s pretty bad, 👎

About seven—maybe eight—people have offered actual solutions so far, but I wouldn't dream of taking any of them. It’s probably best that way—otherwise, there’s really nothing left to complain about.

It’s almost funny—an efficient solution is constantly being laid out right in front of them, yet people seem determined to dodge it while still complaining they can't find an answer. I guess that's just how it goes.

Firefox + uBlock Origin — I guess it's worth a look, maybe. uBlock Origin—it’s probably the only thing keeping my browsing experience sane these days. It seems—if I'm reading this right—there aren't any ads at all.

coastaltiger72 said:When I log onto Reddit using my desktop—with a solid antivirus running and no annoying ads in sight—I honestly don't even notice them. It’s seamless. But the second I switch over to my phone? It’s a total disaster. The ads just keep popping up everywhere; I can barely see the actual content through the clutter. And don't even get me started on how many times I've ended up picking up malware just by browsing here. Why haven't you guys fixed the ad settings so they actually stay static instead of constantly jumping out at you?

Duba, Nice?

I guess you could say you've caught a virus on your phone—though, strictly speaking, you haven't actually picked up anything at all.

Matthew Castillo5 said:Look, I get that much. It’s obvious. But what I don't get is why the moderators here are actually giving out advice on how to set up AdBlock or similar tools just so we can hide the ads. If that's the case, what's even the point of having ads in the first place?
Are we eventually going to reach a point where they won't let us onto Reddit until we disable our AdBlockers (which is already happening on some sites)?

I think I know their goal—to cover every inch of a Reddit thread on a 27" monitor set vertically in 9:16 format. Just use uBlock Origin and call it a day.

Given that there isn't any official explanation for why they'd do this, I have a strong feeling it was a completely intentional move on their part...

A textbook example of how to self-sabotage a forum until it’s barely functional. I honestly find it surprising that the more active users are still putting up with this. I only manage to log in every few weeks—or rather, I *try* to log in, since most of the time I'm met with a wide spectrum of errors—and now this has been added to the list.

A site in this condition is about as interesting to a DDoS attacker as floristry in Laos is to the average forum user. Besides, this is really just a reflection of our society and the general state of things in America—complete nonchalance and a lack of care for anything, which is why nothing ever works; I suppose it's no wonder the forum isn't any different. 🤷
Why can't I see certain users' posts or threads? in Forum Help! ·
Honestly, who cares. There are plenty of other places out there—it’s not like Reddit is the only option. It’s down, it’s broken, big deal. I doubt seeing five pages of everyone complaining is actually going to change anything. Why? Because I guess nobody in charge of this site really cares, one way or another. Deal with it or just move on. There isn't a third option.
