Thanks for getting those suggestions to me so quickly! I honestly expected this to take a lot longer, but looking at the two options provided, I’m leaning more toward the Apple one. I noticed it uses a TN panel; I haven't really messed around with an IPS screen before, but from what I've read, they're supposed to be a major step up in terms of sharpness and color accuracy.
So, let's say we're looking at an upper limit somewhere between 1,800 and maybe 2,000 max.

I'm in desperate need of a new monitor and would love some solid recommendations. What should I be looking for and why? My starting point is a 24-inch screen with an IPS panel. I'll mostly be using it for gaming, watching movies or documentaries, and catching live sports streams (basketball, soccer, etc.). Since I spend a huge chunk of my life at my desk, I’d also really appreciate something that looks sleek—aesthetic matters to me too! Thanks in advance!
