Best gaming monitor recommendations?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a gaming monitor priced under $500 that is at least 22 inches?
I am currently running an EVGA GTX 780...

Samsung LED 24'' Monitor - $400 - Best Buy

Dell Monitor 23'' - $400 - Media Center

Or, if you can stretch your budget just a little bit, go for a 27'' model.

I actually have one pretty similar to that first Samsung LED 24'', and honestly, I've been super happy with it. My only regret is not grabbing the 27'' version right out of the gate—it's definitely the sweet spot for gaming.

A 27-inch screen feels too large for my setup, and $500 is pretty much my limit.
What are your thoughts on this

Just grab that Samsung LED 24 right away. I'm currently using an LG IPS234, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with it. It’s an excellent monitor, I guess.

Right now, I'm stuck staring at this ancient Samsung 14, and honestly, I need something bigger—it's non-negotiable at this point. I can swing up to $400 for the display itself. I'll be picking it up locally in Chicago, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a solid monitor to pair with my NVIDIA GTX 760. Gaming is pretty much the main priority here. Also, if you have any recommendations for a mouse, keyboard, headset, and the rest of the peripherals, I'd appreciate it. My total budget for everything is roughly $567

Samsung's NBA panel isn't actually any worse than the e-commerce tech found in that LG model—honestly, it’s even cheaper $67. Plus, once you account for $133, you’ll probably end up needing to pick up some budget peripherals anyway

What’s actually missing from budget peripherals? 😁 My old keyboard and mouse combo probably cost less than $40, but man, they were built like those heavy-duty vintage typewriters 😁

I'm in desperate need of a new monitor and would love some solid recommendations. What should I be looking for and why? My starting point is a 24-inch screen with an IPS panel. I'll mostly be using it for gaming, watching movies or documentaries, and catching live sports streams (basketball, soccer, etc.). Since I spend a huge chunk of my life at my desk, I’d also really appreciate something that looks sleek—aesthetic matters to me too! Thanks in advance!

How much cash are you planning to drop on this?

Maybe you could even find some 27'' models if that isn't too big for your setup.
