Hey admins, could use some help here
I'm having a weird issue where I can't receive any messages. Other users are telling me they're sending them, and I'm even getting feedback that my inbox is full—but on my end, it looks completely empty. To make things worse, none of my outgoing messages are going through either. Thanks!
Looking for some pajamas for a little girl, size 2T
I'm looking for some help, and please feel free to move this if I've picked the wrong sub.
I'll try to keep this brief. I've had urine cultures, full gynecological exams, and abdominal ultrasounds. Everything supposedly comes back normal, so I'm at a loss for what to do next.
These symptoms have been going on for about two or three months. It felt like a bladder infection, but apparently not, though I am waiting on one more culture result.
The pain isn't constant; it just hits periodically, and I can't seem to find a pattern. There is vaginal pain and a sensation of pressure that gets worse after I pee. It’s a dull ache, bad enough that I have to curl up while sitting. I can't really describe it any better. It usually subsides if I drink some cranberry juice, then things stay quiet for days or even weeks. Lately, it has flared up after intercourse, which didn't used to happen.
My doctors suggested testing for HP because the symptoms might overlap. If it isn't that, they want me to see a urologist. I don't have stomach issues or a fever, just bouts of weakness and chronic fatigue. Since I have low blood pressure, I wonder if HP could be a factor. I would appreciate any ideas or advice, because this is becoming exhausting. My tests say I'm healthy, yet the pain is intense enough to make me cry sometimes. To be fair, I have dealt with an incredibly stressful period lately—probably the most stressful ever—so maybe that's it.
Thanks in advance to everyone.
Could someone offer some insight regarding lung cancer? Basically, there's a massive buildup of fluid in the lungs, making it impossible for the patient to move without oxygen. The doctors seem to only be draining tiny amounts at a time, and they haven't explained why they aren't removing more to actually help with the breathing. Does anyone happen to know why this is? Apparently, a chest tube isn't an option either, though no explanation was given for that. They're just providing pain meds and "breathing injections." I guess thanks in advance to anyone who might know something...
I’m looking for some advice. It involves a patient I’ve mentioned before—lung cancer, stage 4, inoperable. They just finished the third round of six scheduled chemo sessions (paclitaxel and carboplatin). Now they're heading in for an ultrasound because there's a significant amount of fluid buildup in the lungs. After the ultrasound, they plan to drain the fluid via puncture. Apparently, there isn't much of it, and the doctors are suggesting the buildup might be a reaction to the tumor receding. They also mentioned yesterday that a medication might be administered directly to the lungs.
I guess it's hard to know who to trust when the doctors are so tight-lipped. We're dealing with the Mayo Clinic, where getting any real time with the physicians is nearly impossible. Some of you might have dealt with something similar, unfortunately.
Any help or insight would be appreciated.
I’m asking again, hoping someone might have some insight here.
Since I couldn't get any answers regarding the lung pathology report on the PDF...
Adenocarcinoma of the right lower lobe. Stage IV (T2B N2 M1A), ICD code C34.3.
Pleural carcinomatosis, right side. ICD code C78.2. Thoracentesis performed on the right.
Submucosal tumor infiltration at the opening of the 6th segment bronchus; it's narrowed to a tiny slit, making it impossible for instruments to pass through.
The branches of the right lower bronchus are also constricted due to external compression.
Cytology from the brush: carcinoma—larger, more poorly defined cells.
Brush cytology: sparse suspicious cells within the bronchial epithelium.
Biopsy of the excised bronchial mucosa: poorly differentiated non-small cell carcinoma (likely adenocarcinoma).
Pleural effusion cytology: metastatic adenocarcinoma.

It’s clearly stage 4. It isn't operable, so they are starting chemotherapy with Paclitaxel every three weeks.
I’d appreciate an honest answer. The doctors aren't being specific, and the patient is keeping everything to themselves.
Why is the chemo administered so infrequently given the stage? Is there any chance it could become operable after treatment, or is this just palliative care?
Is it possible to have no side effects? They feel surprisingly good the day after treatment.
Thanks to anyone who can offer some clarity.

Honestly, I wouldn't go with the original stuff; I'd probably just stick to using third-party ink...

We’ve pretty much decided on the HP OfficeJet Pro All-in-One printer with wireless and fax capabilities.
Since we aren't exactly tech experts, I’d love some advice so we don't end up making a mistake!
Does this specific model support third-party ink cartridges, and if so, what kind of pricing are we looking at?
I tried doing some digging online myself, but I'm still feeling a bit lost.
When I asked about it over at Eco, the guy there just brushed me off, saying all printers have compatible inks available—and if they don't carry them, you can just grab them at Microchip!
Ultimately, what do you guys think of this printer?
It's just for light home use...
Thanks!

Has anyone had any experience with the dentist Zoran Tepšić at the dental studio in Brooklyn? I'd appreciate some feedback 🙂

I'm looking for recommendations for a private dentist in New York City again. I have a pretty massive fear of dentists, and honestly, my pain tolerance is basically non-existent (even with anesthesia, I suppose...). Anywhere nearby would work too. I heard about Ida Bauer, but she’s just a bit too far for me. Thanks.
I hope there are some people from New York City on here. Thanks in advance.

Elizabeth Hill48 said:It’s not in New York City, but if that doesn't matter much to you:my dentist—he's gentle, understanding, and chatty, but clearly knows his stuff. A friend recommended him and I'm happy with the work; he did a cleaning and replaced a filling without any anesthesia—since that's what I asked for—and I didn't feel a thing😉. I saw him privately at first, but now he's taking my Medicare so I don't have to pay out of pocket anymore
.

Thanks, 🙂but that's quite a trek for me since I don't drive. It's a good backup option, though. I suppose there might be someone similar in New York City, hopefully

Hello,
I suppose I could use a recommendation for a private dentist in New York City. I have an immense fear of dental work, and my pain tolerance is practically non-existent, I guess.😢

Has anyone taken the real estate licensing exam this December? I'd appreciate some insight on the new format and what study materials might be most effective.

Does anyone have any insight on the question format? Apparently, there won't be an oral exam anymore, but I hear they aren't multiple choice either.
Anyone happen to have some questions?
