So, how would you even go about fixing that?
Hey everyone..
I’ve already posted about this in another thread, but nobody bothered to reply.

So, I’ve been dealing with this weird growth on my forehead for a while now. It’s like a little bump or just an extra flap of skin. Hard to describe, really. It’s on the right side, just above my eyebrow.

It feels soft when I touch it, not hard at all. The color looks fine and there's zero pain. It isn't huge, but you can definitely see it. Especially when I laugh—my wrinkles don't line up right because of this little "growth."

If anyone actually knows what this might be, I'd appreciate the help..
Thanks for the input. Sounds like they’re most likely chickenpox.
Just checked my temperature and I'm sitting at 101.3. Whatever. Probably should hit up a doctor tomorrow just to be safe and see what's what..
Sorry if this topic’s already been covered or if there’s something similar floating around here.
Basically, here’s the deal. It all started yesterday morning. After sleeping for like 12 hours straight, I woke up feeling completely off. I had zero appetite, which is weird because I’m usually starving the second I open my eyes. I barely managed half a sandwich between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Then, throughout the day, I keep getting these random shakes and this bizarre sensation in my head. I can’t even put a finger on it. It feels like I’m coming down with a cold, but I don't actually have any symptoms of one.

I’m 17. Aside from having poor circulation—my hands and feet are always freezing—I haven’t dealt with any major health issues.

EDIT: Could this be chickenpox? I never actually caught it growing up, but I was hanging out near a kid who had it about two weeks ago. All I’ve noticed so far is some itching around my groin area and maybe two or three breakouts on my head.

Regarding the GPU, I'm looking to drop maybe $167 max. I've been scrolling through classifieds and spotted a few 4850s for around 400-$167 from AMD, ASUS, or EVGA.
I'm not really feeling the ASUS cards because they sound like jet engines, so I'm stuck choosing between AMD or EVGA—unless there's some other card in that same ballpark that actually works.

Right now I'm running an E2200 stock setup with 2GB of DDR2, a GMA 3100, and some generic 400W power supply. I'm wondering if it's actually worth upgrading this rig with a used 4850 and a power supply. Is that enough juice to handle newer games at 1024x768, or is this CPU just going to bottleneck the 4850?

Is this review actually legit? LINK

Seems like there isn't much of a difference between the NVIDIA GTX 460 Hawk and the NVIDIA GTX 470 🤷

Which card is actually better: the NVIDIA GTX 460 Hawk Talon Attack or the 6850 Toxic?
And is a 430W Seasonic enough to handle either one of them?

Because the 5850 is more powerful than the 6850.

I don't need anything fancy 🙂
I'll probably just grab this RX1000 since I'm getting my whole rig from Boeing anyway. Might as well keep everything in one order instead of jumping between two different shops. I read some stuff about Corsair saying their quality isn't great and things start creaking after you've used them for a little while too.
Do I actually need a mousepad for the RX1000, or can I just leave it on the desk?

Can anyone recommend a decent gaming mouse from Boeing for under $50?
I'm looking at picking up the RX1000. What's the verdict on that one?

How does the GTX 660 stack up against the 5850 when you look at power draw, temps, and noise levels?

Will it hold up if both the GPU and CPU are overclocked? 😁

Will a Corsair 430W handle a 5850 paired with an Intel Phenom on Gigabyte motherboard?

5850 or 6870? Which one's actually worth the cash?

Do you guys think picking up a 5850 is actually worth it? Right now, it's sitting at about $523

The GTX295 is better than the GTX 470. They're close, but the 295 still comes out on top.

What's the damage on a GTX295?
Probably won't be under $1000 bucks, right?

thanks a lot

I thought you were planning on picking up a GeForce GTX 460 😁
but for about $167 it’s going to be tough to find anything decent. Maybe check this out:

William Gray90 said:I wouldn't drop more than $1300 on a GPU right now, so Nvidia is out. I'm looking at the 4890 or the 5770 instead. Looking at some benchmarks, the 4890 seems significantly more powerful. The obvious downside is the power draw—it runs hotter and louder. Silence during idle is a big deal for me, and it doesn't look like the stock cooler on the 4890 handles that well. Are there any decent aftermarket coolers for this card that would actually be worth the investment later?

Maybe check out the XFX HD 4870 1GB. It goes for about $350.
Here's how they stack up:
