SSD Headaches
So, I picked up a new rig, got Windows 7 installed, and everything was running smooth—until yesterday when things started getting weird. I’m running a 120GB Samsung drive—pretty sure it’s an 840 series...
Even though the only thing on there is Windows 7 and the basic drivers—which, let's be real, shouldn't take up more than 70GB—I got a notification yesterday saying I only have 11GB of free space left. So, naturally, I went digging through files to see what's eating my storage. I found the "Users" folder apparently claiming to hold 45GB, but when I actually look at the individual files inside, none of them are even over 20MB. Why does Windows lie to me? Like, why does Properties claim there's 45GB in there when it clearly isn't? Is this normal? Just for context, I also have a 1TB secondary drive where I store all my actual stuff.
The Recycle Bin is completely empty. As for the rest of the specs, I've got an i5, 8GB of RAM, and a Palit 650...

I'm looking to pick up a 23-24 inch monitor—budget is around $500 though I don't mind dropping more if the quality actually justifies the hit to my wallet.
Since this is basically going to be my main screen—or what my grandma would probably just call a "television"—I'll be using it for movies and stuff too. So, I'm wondering if it makes more sense to grab a monitor with a built-in tuner or just go the TV tuner card route.
I’d love some advice here—specifically, what are the pros and cons of a monitor with a tuner versus using a card? Also, if you have specific models in mind for either setup, please let me know.
