This is an incredibly difficult poll because choosing just one is nearly impossible, but if I had to pick, my top selections would be Primal Fear, American History X, and The Score—I’d actually single out The Score as my standout choice—along with 25th Hour.
Each of these films possesses its own unique soul, spanning various genres, scripts, and directors.
I wouldn't call myself some kind of elitist cinephile who only tracks Oscar winners, Palme d'Or recipients, Golden Bears, Golden Monkeys, or any other assortment of awards named after animals.😁
However, looking at things somewhat superficially, I don't recall reading anywhere that any of these specific titles snagged a major award, at least not in the acting categories.
I suppose that’s just how the machine works—media blitzes, heavy sponsorship, and constant exposure. It likely requires a significant influx of cash to ensure a project actually makes its way onto that famous red carpet. 😳

I just caught a post by electricridge6, and based on what they wrote, it seems my conclusion was right: he didn't receive any major accolades for those particular films.
Honestly, I can't imagine anyone else portraying that role better than he did in The Score, which is precisely why I felt compelled to highlight that movie specifically. There was such a massive uproar during the recent Oscar ceremonies regarding The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and Leonardo DiCaprio's performance for Best Actor; I truly don't understand the logic, but I guess this is how things operate now. It reminds me of how PSY became a global phenomenon with Gangnam Style—something nobody really understood, yet it racked up nearly two billion views. It seems the situation is much the same with The Wolf of Wall Street and the actor who undoubtedly deserved an Oscar for Best Actor.
