Charles Bailey45 said:I’ve been thinking about putting together an FAQ to help people understand why investing in a higher-quality, slightly more expensive bike upfront actually pays off. I wanted to include some pricing guidelines based on how people ride (just so we can avoid those repetitive posts you've noticed), but honestly, experience tells me nobody ever reads a massive FAQ—let alone the very first post in a "Which bike should I buy?" thread. So, what's the point? 🙂

🙏 Go for it, write it! There will always be a mountain of clueless people asking the same things, but there are plenty of us who actually want to read up and learn something. 😉

I find myself scrolling through these posts every single day, and I have to say, you guys are seriously motivating me. 😉
I’m still putting in some extra training sessions for a few more days since I wasn't exactly sitting on a bike regularly for about four years, and I've been averaging around 8 7.5 miles hours of work lately. But, most likely, I'll be starting the actual job next week. Honestly, a 45 to 50-minute commute in the car feels like such a drag 6.2 miles especially when the weather is this beautiful outside.

Quick question for all my fellow daily commuters who ride bikes to work. What’s your move when the rain starts pouring? Do you pack a raincoat, or just leave the bike at home and call it a day? Or do you just embrace the soak and pedal through it?
I’m actually planning on switching to biking for my commute pretty soon, and I can't help but wonder—especially since the weather here seems to flip-flop between sunshine and showers every other day.
