I have no idea what your 100m times look like, but that sprint was never really my speed. On my best days, I was probably keeping pace with the fastest 85-year-old out there; today, I’d likely be trailing a 95-year-old. It is fascinating, though, that 70-year-olds can clock in around 13 seconds.
It also seems that other results—the 1500m, for instance—for most people fall into the fastest global rankings within the 70-to-95 age brackets.
