Are all Americans actually "American"? in Miscellaneous ·
Joseph Howard12 said:Are Americans stupid, slow, or uneducated? Yes or no? Personally, I’d say no. But I really want to hear what you all think about this. I'm an American who grew up in a small town near Boston, finished my degree there, and now I work for a major US corporation.
In the seven years I've lived here, I haven't run into any issues regarding my background, so I'm curious—why does everyone in the States seem to have this idea that people from Canada are somehow "lower class"? There are plenty of perfectly normal people coming from there.😉

Haha, we're practically neighbors... I totally get where you're coming from, and it bugs me too. It's always easiest to judge people without having a clue what they're actually like.

I'm still in total shock. I have thousands of questions without answers, and what scares me most are the ones that will hit me later, once reality truly sinks in and I realize she's gone. I don't even know how to put it into words, other than saying it was too sudden, too fast, just way too fast.....

Please accept my deepest condolences. I am so incredibly sorry. Even though we haven't met, please hang in there—I can only imagine how hard this is for you right now.😢
Does anyone have any experience dealing with pituitary tumors, specifically those affecting the optic nerves? My sister has been battling this for two years now, and unfortunately, she’s lost her sight.😢(((

I honestly hate this damn disease. It’s completely wrecked my sister's life; she lost her vision at just 25, and now she’s fighting this battle day in and day out. At this point, I feel like only God can help because, from a medical standpoint, we've hit a wall... I will never forget the day the light just vanished for her—when faces disappeared and everything went dark. Watching her turn into such a withdrawn, helpless, blind person was devastating.😢Our house is filled with nothing but grief, and loneliness has become our constant companion. Every single day, I find myself wondering—and I still do—what it actually feels like to open your eyes in the morning and see absolutely nothing. To have no idea where you are or how to function... It’s incredibly hard on me. I’m constantly crying, asking myself how things could spiral so fast, how she could lose her vision in just a week. There are so many questions and so few answers.😢 Please, is anyone else going through something similar? Does anyone know if optic nerves can actually recover? I’m becoming so desperate and depressed because I’m searching for something impossible: I'm just trying to find a way to make things go back to normal.😢
