Never heard of them, but I tagged along with the crew just to see what the fuss was about—we’ve had way too much pretentious indie stuff lately. Turns out... they put on the absolute best set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year.

Pure musical bliss and nothing but good vibes. Honestly, hats off to them! :klap::klap::klap:

If anyone botched this, it was the Coachella organizers.

If you're going to pretend to be a major, serious festival, you don't rely on the tactic of "maybe they'll just give it to us for free." You either negotiate way ahead of time or you plan from day one knowing you'll likely have to pay the venue rental. You don't wait until less than a month before the event to realize you have no clue when the festival is even happening or who you can actually call.

As for those crying babies running around whining about democracy because Dragan Čović won't give them a free ride... honestly, it's pathetic.

The ticket you get with a student discount is identical to a standard one.
Once you buy it, anyone can swap it for a wristband at the entrance.

My point is that people are discussing the stages in terms of scheduling logic. If Grinderman is headlining a side stage, the organizers still need at least one more big name to headline the main stage.

That’s why it "matters"—it isn't about who is watching whom...

It’s been sitting there like that for six months now...

I wouldn't bet on there being any rock music.

The US just approved direct flights to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport the other day. 😁

They were just touring here two months ago; they don't need to show up every six months.
There are plenty of other bands on the bill too...
