Myasthenia gravis and pregnancy
in Women's Health ·
Hey ladies! I just stumbled upon this sub-thread, and since there isn't much chatter here about this specific topic,
I’m dying to know what the vibe is like at Petrov Hospital lately. My mom actually had me there, and honestly, her experience was a total nightmare (and she’s usually pretty easygoing)
The nurses were incredibly rude. Since it was her first baby, they basically told her she’d be waiting all day, and she almost ended up giving birth right there in the waiting room because I was in such a rush to get out—she went from arriving to delivering in barely two hours. Then, they’d only let her see me once a week; one time they even practically kicked her out for coming a second time in a week because it was a non-working day or something. For nearly a month, they practically forced us to switch over to Rebro, where she could actually be by my side every single day. And don't even get me started on the fact that even after 28 years, she still hasn't received her discharge papers from Petrov Hospital. So, I'm really wondering if they've actually improved when it comes to basic human decency... anyway, good luck with your pregnancies during these crazy times; it's a few degrees colder today, so I hope you're all staying warm and feeling okay!
