Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
What is rustystag7 even yapping about now?

Honestly, folks, who exactly gave him permission to just waltz in here and drop these comments among us reasonable people?

Someone needs to shut him up.

I mean, come on, he’s out here rooting for Massa.

Hey, MASSU!!!!!!! 😲😲😲😲

Well, if you really want to go down that road, fine.

Yes, he did cut the chicane.

But we are talking about the START of the race.

When you have ten cars all trying to squeeze through a chicane at once, there simply isn't enough room for everyone to play nice.

We see this exact same thing happen at every single race, and frankly, no one ever gets penalized for it.🙏

When I look back at how much he used to whine during the Schumacher era—specifically that final season—claiming the FIA was out to get him or that they were playing favorites with Schumacher after losing to him three times straight...

🙄

Sure, the fact that he's a bit of a crybaby is pretty much an established truth at this point.

But it’s also a reality that more and more people are starting to admit: he really is the best driver in Formula 1 right now.☕

Here we go,

It feels like they're looking for any tiny excuse to call a penalty these days. Every little thing is scrutinized. 🙏

climbs all the way from 15th on the grid to take the win...☕

And honestly, when I look back and realize he was sitting in dead last during lap 14, it’s even more impressive.🙏

I’m fully in favor of the suggestion to publicly denounce this nonsense started by the person who opened this ridiculous thread. Let's shut it down once and for all and just metaphorically beat it into submission until they finally admit who actually talked them into doing something this foolish 🙏

Come on, don't be silly.😁

It seems pretty clear that Rosberg simply took full advantage of a loophole in the rulebook. 🙏

It felt pretty great being a Ford fan today. Honestly, I’d almost forgotten what that sweet taste of victory feels like. 🙏

But honestly, I don't see it happening this time 😁 ☕

fadedpanther4 said:If, by some chance, the driver you’re talking about had been behind the wheel of Massin Place's car... I mean, if he were actually in Massin Place today... just how far would he have climbed the standings?

Come on, please, it’s not like everyone out there on the track is driving like an absolute amateur. 😉

Alright, fadedpanther4, why are you stating the obvious here? 😁

We all know the old adage that the car accounts for about 90% of the result while the driver provides the remaining 10%.

But today, Alonso secured that win because, in this specific instance, the driver provided that extra 11%.

Do you see what I mean? 🙏

Honestly, folks, I think the most significant takeaway from this entire race is that we’ve finally eliminated the possibility of Kimi being Unfairly crowned champion again! 🙏

🤣

And regarding Felipe Massa, you really couldn't have expected him to keep driving while dealing with a Lollipop issue.

But if that had been Kimi Räikkönen behind the wheel, he probably would have shaken it off before he even cleared the pit lane. 🙏

The only problem is I don't even know where to begin with my thoughts.

The start was captivating... nobody really collided with anyone else. Well, maybe a tiny bit with Kubica and Kovalainen, but that was minor. And given how Kubica usually drives and carries himself, you could tell there was absolutely no ill intent involved.

It was also fascinating to see Kimi actually alert right at the start. Honestly, that hasn't been his typical vibe lately. 😍

I was struck by how quickly Massa managed to pull away from Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

And then there was Kimi ( 😍 ), suddenly dropping those blistering fastest laps and closing the gap on Hamilton quite significantly. Anything could have happened there. 😬

The lack of space on this track was striking... you saw it most clearly when something fell off a car; nobody dared to go out and grab it near the edge of the track. Instead, they just started waving yellow flags. Even Mark Webber tried to "clear" it himself. 😬

Massa caught my attention again. Seriously, how much of a fool do you have to be to spend three laps circling some random debris someone dropped, only to drive straight over the exact same spot the very next lap?!

Then there's Nelson Piquet. Look, kid, just because your name is Nelson Piquet doesn't mean you're automatically a prodigy in Formula 1.

The absolute chaos in the standings once the Pace Car pulled in was something else entirely. 😵

I won't list every single thing that caught my eye... we'd be here all night.
If I had to pick one standout, it would have to be the Ferrari pit box. I truly don't understand—why couldn't Massa just drive with that piece of junk hanging off the fuel tank?! I mean, what if that thing starts flapping around and puts the other drivers in direct danger?

Oh, and one more thing... Blažica's commentary about Fernando Alonso's "masterful" driving fascinated me. 🙄 What exactly was masterful about it? The guy just took whatever opportunities landed in his lap. To me, "masterful" would be carving through the field from 15th to 1st, overtaking everyone in sight. The guy won. He earned it. But there’s nothing particularly magical about that. 🙂

Just another example of how people start thinking exactly alike once they live together. 😁
