Unfortunately, a lot of people are just hard to convince that for that kind of money, you're way better off getting a solid v-brake setup that's safer and higher quality than some cheap, shitty disc brakes.

True... I haven't actually tried any mechanical disc brakes yet that could beat the v-brakes I had on my old Schwinn.

I work at a shipyard, so honestly, the smell after a bike ride is just one more layer of defense for me...

Someone steals your bike... you head down to the local police station, dictate the serial number, and they just toss it into some "lost and never found" file and tell you, "Yeah, sure thing, we'll let you know if anything turns up."👍
