though neither did I, honestly😲 it’s almost certainly because of the little girl are we really going to act like the album was a letdown? I listened to those singles they dropped before the full release and they were incredibly dull, so it makes sense why the album hasn't quite hit its stride yet...
the kid is tiny, but she sure is loud... uh😍 kids can be energetic, boisterous, and spirited in a way that’s actually quite beautiful🙂 and their musicianship is truly excellent. When you first see them, you’d probably assume they’re the type of band that would get under your skin, but then you realize that in a perfect universe, this is exactly how young bands should sound. Add in that charged atmosphere and the high spirits of a festival closing set, and you end up with an absolutely legendary concert...
I think she actually caught both of their sets 🙂 😳As for me, I watched a couple of things during the first concert, left for a bit, and then circled back just in time for the headliner
Even though Ante still can't quite wrap his head around Dinosaur Jr.'s albums, they put on a truly beautiful performance 😍
Meanwhile, Negative Approach basically earned themselves a special "play garbage" award for creating the most chaotic atmosphere at the entire festival 🙏 It was pure madness 😠 (They were also handing out t-shirts—Ana managed to snag one 😬—along with pacifiers and stickers)
Once I'm feeling a bit more inspired, I'll put together a longer piece and hopefully share some photos once I get them edited. Probably sometime in a few weeks...
🙏 🙂I’ve been thinking about how 🙏Dinosaur Jr.🙂 manages to capture that specific kind of raw, unpolished energy, much like how a classic piece of Americana feels more grounded than something overly produced.🙏 🙂It’s almost like comparing a well-worn pair of Levi's to a brand-new designer jacket; there’s just a soul in the grit that you can't manufacture.🙏 🙂Even when 🙏they🙂 dive into those heavy, distorted walls of sound, it feels incredibly intentional.
I’d just add that for Seven, tracks really need to be either one minute long or thirteen minutes long—nothing in between. I honestly can't stand that transitional music that cuts out right when it finally starts getting good. Aside from that, everything else said in the previous comments stands; if they fixed that, I’d be a pretty happy camper.

It isn't even Pritt. 🙂
Please fix that to "girls and guy." Thanks. 😬
Look at how excited he is. It’s exactly what we need right now. 👋

This stuff is pretty intense... I doubt it's going to be anyone's cup of tea... but personally, I'm a fan...
They're a decent band🙂 and they share a similar vibe with groups like functional🙏 blackouts🙏, much like bome and hospitals (though not that second album—that one was total garbage). It feels more like a collection of noisy punk garage tracks rather than straight-up garage rock, but honestly, I'd recommend giving them a listen (I don't have any physical copies on me, and I can't track down any MP3s online right now, unfortunately...).
Oh, and could you please use standard capitalization for the thread title?🙂 Right now, it looks like something out of a Red Hot Chili Peppers or Linkin Park era forum...
Well, we weren't exactly being that serious about it either. I just wanted to mention that, since I'm not quite at that 😬 age yet, those things don't really carry much weight for me 🙂
I’d ask the prosecutor to be a bit more specific about what they’re actually asking. As far as I can recall, I was only thirteen at the time, and back then, ArcWelder just hadn't become interesting yet.
It feels more like how bands like Tim & Andy were treated—just some obscure mumbling and noise that Americans somehow interpreted as this epic, deeply emotional experience. I suppose that’s just where the cultural divide lies.
I’ll post the photo whenever I finally get a chance to touch it up a bit.😳
I just wanted to weigh in and say I’m right there with the other commenters regarding the Supergroup's rating. To be honest, the performance didn't come close to that incredible show at the Bowery Ballroom, and the sound mix was even harsher than usual.
Also, the people over on the Electrical Audio forums are completely out of touch. Uzeda? Tim & Andy? They’re both equally underwhelming, yet these folks act like they're gods. It’s honestly mind-boggling.
Furthermore, I have to admit that while nobody was shouting "play Fertilizer,"😳 there was definitely some singing along to "If I Leave, Friends..." during the intro to Dead Billy, so there's that.
As far as I’m concerned, those smaller venues really suit Seven. Honestly, their show tonight was probably my favorite performance of theirs to date.
Peach Pit was absolutely divine 🙏 trans 🙏 everything 🙏
On the other hand, I just couldn't bring myself to head over to Makazoruk after they finished. I simply can't get into that vocalist's style... 😳 Just when I’m thinking, "Hey, this is actually pretty good, maybe I'll stick around," he starts singing. And then, well...
