I'm actually super curious about how I might be able to double-check that too.
So, basically... I was writing something the other day and I was totally convinced I’d nailed it... but then I realized I'd typed stuff like "citizens" instead of "citizenship," messed up some grammar on a commission check, or wrote "foundational" when it should have been "founding"... you know how it goes.
And honestly, sometimes I just completely skip over an entire word without even noticing.
So, there's just one thing I've been wondering about. I know this probably isn't really meant for this specific thread, so sorry if I'm totally off base here! 🙂
Since I've been having some issues with my lower back, I'll likely have to go in for an ultrasound to check things out. I was just curious, though... does anyone actually know what that process is like? Like, how does the ultrasound work exactly?
Seriously, thanks so much for all the advice. 🙂
I am honestly just so hungry right now that I feel like I can't even deal anymore. Today I made myself a little warm grilled cheese sandwich, and then I had my usual lunch which was basically just some toast, a bit of pasta, and I figured I should probably grab a tiny bit of tuna too.
I think I might actually go look for some dairy-free cheese later today, and as far as fruit goes, I just eat whatever is around—mostly just a mix of bananas and apples.
Once this whole thing is over, I am definitely going to treat myself to a massive meal because, man, this really wears you out... you get so hungry, and on top of that, you still have a mountain of other stuff you need to get done.

So, I took a look at it. Honestly, I’m kind of thinking about maybe trying just a tiny bit of tuna, since cheese always makes me feel pretty gross, so I probably can't go that route, unfortunately.
Do you think it might be doable for me to follow this a little bit?
Grace Lewis6 said:yeah, I totally agree, especially if it's one of those nastier cases of salmonella.
I actually had to take antibiotics myself because my gut was so inflamed, but honestly, some of the meal plans they served me at the hospital were kind of a shocker😳

do you have a fever right now?
As of right now, I don't have a fever. I did have one a few days ago, though, reaching about 99.5.
Grace Lewis6 said:I mean, I think you're good to go, since you've already been feeling under the weather for five days now...
I actually had some of that too!
Well, if I consider that I basically just stuck to broth for those first couple of days, then I guess I’ve kind of been following the diet halfway.
My doctor did tell me to stay away from juice, soda, and coffee... just stick to rosehip tea and water. And she suggested eating tiny little bites every hour or so just so I don't completely run out of steam.
But honestly, I feel like homemade apple juice is pretty much the same thing as just eating an old apple or something. 😁😛
Thanks so much, ladies! 🙂
I was also wondering, maybe I could just stick to some homemade apple juice instead?
If anyone else happens to have any other suggestions, please feel free to throw them my way... 🙂
So, here’s my situation... I’ve come down with salmonella, and my doctor basically put me on this super strict diet of plain boiled rice, light soups, mashed potatoes, toast, and maybe some crackers. I’ve been stuck eating nothing but that and rosehip tea for about five days now, which is just exhausting. As far as fruit goes, I’m apparently only allowed to have bananas, which is honestly driving me crazy since I’m the type of person who usually snacks on fruit all day long. I guess I was wondering if anyone knows if there’s anything else I can actually eat that might taste a little better, or am I seriously stuck eating this bland stuff for who knows how much longer? 😢
That is just awful. 😢
I honestly thought I was the only one who had ever accidentally swallowed a toothpick or something like that. It feels like everyone still looks at me like I'm totally crazy. 🙄
Oh my gosh, please don't even worry about it, you are seriously going to be totally fine, I promise. 🙂 😉
So, I actually had this one experience where I made these cheesy sliders, and I ended up snapping the toothpicks right in about a third of the way through, so I just kind of left them embedded in the meat to make sure all that cheese stayed put. The toothpicks sort of blended into the food so well that I didn't even realize I was actually eating them at the time, though I guess I did feel a little bit of some weirdness in my stomach area later on, but honestly, who even thinks about toothpicks when they're eating? And yeah, I was perfectly okay after that. 🙂
Seriously, don't stress. 😉
