Endometrial Adenocarcinoma diagnosis and outlook

Hi everyone,
My mom was just diagnosed with grade 2 endometrial adenocarcinoma. She's heading in for surgery soon, so I was wondering if anyone here has gone through something similar? I'm curious about how long the procedure usually takes and what the recovery process is like...
We're really hoping it hasn't spread, but we won't know for sure until after the surgery is done.
