Small breasts / Hypomastia: Seeking advice/options in Women's Health ·
Dennis Castillo83 said:So, here's my situation. I'm turning 16 soon, and I work out pretty regularly. My chest started developing about three years ago, but honestly, nothing has changed since then—it’s basically flat. I know people will jump to say I'm just "late" or still growing, but I don't think it's normal for a 16-year-old girl to have zero development and haven't even started her period yet. I'm worried it might be a hormonal issue because my mom and sister both have curves, so it's definitely not genetic. I thought about seeing a doctor because I'm getting anxious—especially since all my friends are way more developed—but it feels kind of silly to bring up. Any advice? I also read that eating soy might help because of the hormones, but I'm skeptical. Help.

I think you might just be overtraining. Being super active can sometimes stall physical development, but once you scale back, things usually catch up quickly. That said, you really should see a gynecologist since you haven't had your period yet. Personally, I'm fairly certain your training schedule is what's holding everything back.

Hey everyone,
My boobs are still basically nonexistent. Honestly, without push-up bras, I wouldn't even pass for a woman. I actually went in for a breast ultrasound recently, and my doctor told me straight up that they’re way too small, but there isn't anything she can do about it—it’s just how I'm built. It sucks.

Alright ladies, I’m hoping someone jumps in soon who’s actually been through this... it would really help give me and briskbear32 some peace of mind.

Haha, briskbear32, I was actually hoping someone here would have some solid advice to offer us.
It’s not even about the size for me; it’s the fact that it's an actual disorder. It worries me, and I'm trying to figure out what steps to take next. That said, I have zero interest in going under the knife for this.
Anyway, thanks stormymaker24.

Seriously... does nobody else have anything like this happen to them??

The real issue for me is that my breasts aren't developed at all. That’s the actual problem here. I want to know if anyone else deals with a complete lack of development, rather than just having small breasts. If you've dealt with this specific situation, please reach out...

p.s: housewife and briskbear32, thanks for the encouragement.

Hey ladies, 👎 I really need some advice if anyone here has dealt with something similar. I'm 22 and my breasts just haven't developed properly. They started growing when I was 13, but they basically stalled out right after. I was also diagnosed with PCOS two years ago, so there's a chance that's the culprit, though I'm not entirely sure...
Please, 🙏🙏🙏 if any of you have been through this, please reach out. I'm honestly feeling pretty desperate. I'm barely an A cup, while everyone else in my family is at least a B or C. I want to know if there's actually anything I can do to fix this. Is there any kind of hormone therapy that could jumpstart growth—something like what people use during gender affirmation surgery? Please, if you have any insight or personal experience, let me know. I haven't been able to find anything useful online, and my doctor at the Mayo Clinic didn't give me much to go on either. Help...
Thanks so much in advance, 🙄 🙄 🙄
